I admit, haven’t been around for a while (probably over a year) and I was so worried that Kristin got divorced when I heard them refer to a “partner” and used “they/them” pronouns. Pleasantly surprised to find that Kristin is just a rockin, supportive partner who is still happily married!!! I LOVE THIS!!

i really love the change of tone in their relationship vs. how they were on buzzfeed. you can tell they're really having so much more fun doing their own thing, without having to be so. family-media friendly if that makes sense? like you can feel their actual friendship as it is behind the scenes.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED the empty suitcase show! I looked so forward to each episode and found it fascinating and hilarious! I'm a regular size and I don't travel so didn't even pertain to me but I still loved watching her try on and look fabulous! And all the sidekicks were great but I have a soft spot for Jen! I was on a plane back from Toronto when I was 19 and an elderly couple from New York gave my one of those from their bakery. This is how a always remember black and white cookies.

@@ab-jf2re A quick google search tells me they are called Americans in Germany because of the baking powder that was used for these in the past, it has nothing to do with skin color. A DeepL translated version of the German Wikipedia article for reference: "There are various speculations about the origin of the name "Amerikaner": 1) The name is derived from ammonium bicarbonate, the baking agent used in the pastry, [2] 2) The name is derived from the shape of the Brodie helmet of the US Army in World War I. The origin of the name is not clearly proven, but there are literature references in Germany from the time before the Second World War. In the GDR the term American was frowned upon by some. The pastry was then called Ammonplätzchen."

@@ab-jf2re So they were originally called „Ammoniakaner“ which was hard to pronounce so people called them "Amerikaner", which sounds very close in German.

Loving these but PLEASE add an option for closed captions/subtitles. I'm autistic rather than hard of hearing but I have a lot of trouble processing without them and had to rewind and rewatch a lot to pick up what was being said.
