We just got these donuts a few days ago and they’re still sitting on the kitchen counter cause they’re to expensive to throw away! We were so excited to try these donuts and were really disappointed in the taste. Taste like hamburger buns. And I agree those beignets were horrible, just bread chunks and sugar.

They use brioche dough so I can see how it can taste like a hamburger bun. I work at a Donut and have my entire life. 🇰🇭 makes the best Donuts.

Guys it's a French Patisserie! Quality ingredients. We have one in Portland. Try the Pain Au Chocolat.. (ask to have it warmed) ...Also the Canele which is my all time favourite 🍩☕ try the French pizza!🍕

With the hard top on the creme brulee it's just sugar. They sprinkle it on thick & then use a cooks blow torch to melt it (very high flame) & then it sets hard as it cools.... Yes I have one of those kitchen tools because we make our own 😊🇦🇺💖

Everybody keeps complaining about the price of these donuts, but you guys have to remember that this is a gourmet donut shop where people handcrafted the donuts and came up with ideas and use fresh ingredients. It’s not Dunkin’ Donuts or Krispy Kreme you wouldn’t expect to pay the same price for a gourmet cake and a store-bought cake would you?

It’s pronounced phonetically as St. On-er-A. They make donuts throughout the day. Traditional Beignets, are light and fluffy and deflate quickly, so don’t judge the thickness. They are made to be dunked in coffee, so eating them without dunking, may have contributed to the “toughness” you experienced.

The donuts look large which is fair to say its a dessert, so 5 bucks for a specialty donut as a dessert is actually not too bad, they are not traditional donuts.

Beignets are meant to be eaten hot/warm. They harden when they get cold.

I ate beignets in New Orleans they didn't have powder sugar all over it had cinnamon sugar dust. Fried crispy with honey drizzled inside. Yummy. That wasn't genuine.

Café Du Monde in New Orleans, has the best beignets. Im from Louisiana and those looked bad. Lol 😂 I bet I would like the Boston cream donut 🍩 best. That one looked good to me. ❤
