I always thought those should have been 3 pt hitch models for moving any distance. I had a 2005 model with ujoints instead of the fingers where it folds.I just sold mine a few week ago. Never had any problems with it but it really didn't get used a lot.

Glad to hear that the twins are doing great and are at home. My first baby boy is due June 11 so I tell the wife that I either have to cut the work before or the week after.

If that happens often I believe I’d change its zip code. I bought a 6 star Vermeer last year and you can flat out cover some ground. They are pricy but for transport the Tedder rides on a heavy frame not the star wheels only draw back adjusting height/angle. You have to adjust wheel/frame height to match draw bar height but once it’s set it’s set and don’t touch it again.

Firstly - congrats on the new babies! As to your schedule getting back to normal, forget that for at least 18 years - LOL... It is troubling the issues you have had and are having with that Krone tedder. We have a Krone mower conditioner and knock on wood, so far - so good. We need/want to buy a new tedder and given our positive experience with Krone, are leaning towards Krone for both a tedder and rotary rake. However, whatever we buy has to be a long term home run. I’m concerned with the Krone tedders based on your experience. You mentioned other potential tedders. We have looked at both Kuhn and MF. Do you have any experience with Kuhn tedders and rotary rakes? Also - MF tedders are now (as I understand) Fella tedders - which Agco bought. I think they look pretty good, but there are none in my area that I know of. Thanks and again congrats on the twins!
