What is it REALLY like week to week as a professional working (or not working) actor. Let's chat about the business of being a professional actor and what it really looks like. I want to demystify this idea that "when I make it, I won't feel anxious anymore, nervous anymore, etc..." "Making it" in this business, on camera, off, probably looks different than you can imagine so let's get into it! This week I had major wins, but after months and months of NOTHING and a lot of self-doubt.
In this weekly vlog to tell you all my wins, losses, jobs, opportunities, and frustrations as a professional actor in NYC and how it changes week to week. Doing this for a living come with all the ups and downs, no matter what level you are at, so let's all celebrate our wins, and deal with the tough stuff together! My name is Krystina Alabado, I am a Broadway, TV/Film, and Voice Actor based in NYC. I started working professionally in 2008 and have made a full-time living, doing what I love, but, how I make $ and sustain my life in this business may look different than you would think (or think it will be for you!) and changes DRASTICALLY week to week, month to month, and year to year! This life is a big ol' mystery that you can NEVER predict.
