KSMO was a UPN Affiliate from January 16,1995 until January 21,1998 when it switched its affiliation to The WB. KSMO carried FOX Kids Programming because WDAF 4 turned it down shortly after switching affiliations from NBC to FOX . Prior to WDAF switching from NBC to FOX, KSHB 41 was Kansas City’s FOX Affiliate and it aired on KSHB 41
