I also thought of this while watching and remembered how when I saw that scene, I was young enough to fully suspend disbelief when he lost his hand and when he jumped into the void. I fully felt that. I don't think I quite bought it when he fell into the tube and ever since I have had this itch about testing the idea.

Thanks! Yeah I will probably rely heavily on Patroen in the future. KZfaq wants my channel dead it seems. No matter what I do, every video tanks. I will have to make an announcement and hope more people will support me. Otherwise this will be my last complicated video.

@@SWDennis Well crap, I hope people step up. Not to sound too fan-boi, but I enjoy your vids more than any of the other Kerbalists, especially when you get weird like with this one.

@@davidb6576 It's really frustrating. A few years I could upload shitty videos, compared to this one, and they got always 10k's of views in the first day. Now with any luck I get 10k in a week. For this video I worked for some weeks. I didn't count the hours, probably over 40. Planned for years to get it right, just a nice little video. Other youtubers just record their gameplay and upload it, maybe a bit editing. Or the simple rockets or space stations or whatsoever, it's all simple compared to my stuff. No one would even think about putting so much time in a 5 min video, it not economic for a channel. In the end it's not paying off and takes too much of my time to create videos I like to make. Either you make clickbaity bullshit or end it. I will have to switch more of my time to irl work and less youtube videos if I suddenly don't get a few hundred Patreons. Other KSP creators have much more patreons. I don't know why I don't, is my content not worth it? Sorry for the long text, it's all just... sad. :(

@@SWDennis OK, since you've forced my hand I'm going to gush a little bit. There's a lot more creativity and "cinematic" feel to much of your work than what I see with others, that's why I started (and upped) my Patreon for you. It can suck sometimes being an "artist", especially when it feels like you're struggling without much recognition. But you've got over a 100K subscribers, and if even 1% of them can find a way to support you, even at the lowest levels, that's a bit of encouragement. I'm just sorry I started so late in the game. Not sure how to get people to sign on, especially now with a lot of uncertainty. But it's not unreasonable at all for you to ask for a little reward to recognize the time and skill you put into these videos.

How much thought and planning, and how hard the game makes it for me. It's looks like only kids watch them and think, hehe funny, he made an explosion. Rocket go boom. You get the idea. I also wish more mature people would comment on my stuff, not just the young kids screaming first. Perhaps KSP is the wrong game for my ideas. But thanks again for being understanding. :)
