9 ай бұрынRich DeMuro visits the Northridge, California Chuck E Cheese location, which will keep the animatronic band in tact. All other locations will be phasing out the original entertainment in favor of interactive dance floors, giant video walls and trampolines.

That's great that they're keeping one someone traditional to the original Chuck e cheese but not sure why they can't keep at least a few more than just one because what if people want to visit there and like introduce their family to their childhood. I feel like that puts the pressure on to have to go all that way just to see some of the past. They are a very successful corporation and they could easily keep the bands at more than just one location.

I have no idea who gave these guys the loan to remodel all the locations when they're clearly going into debt every year. I used to work for CEC back in 2013 - 2017. 2013 was the last year's. It was the golden years until the company sold to Apollo Capital Management. After that it was all about profits. Customer complaints went up. Hours were cut, which meant dirty tables, longer lines. Cheaper toys. I can keep going. They had this whole plan about beating last year's numbers with less employees every year. It was just terrible.

If fans on the East Coast want to experience the old animatronic shows of the 80’s, there is also Billy Bob’s Wonderland in West Virginia, which has the last publicly performing Rock-afire Explosion animatronics from before the Chuck E Cheese/Showbiz Pizza merger.

I wanted to go to billy bobs for my birthday yesterday but my parents canceled last minute saying "it's just a chuck e cheese" I wanted to go for the animatronics. I settled for my local chuck e cheese and they got rid of the studio C chuck :(

Chuck e cheese made a big mistake when they got rid of the animatronics! I am very glad 1 store kept it. But the giant wall paintings, and dance floor is not nearly as cool as the animatronics.

I heard of something like this, but I was still shocked and confused. Literally the Chuck E Cheese animatronics are going extinct?! Chuck E Cheese was my childhood and I don’t really have memories with the robots, but I know I’ve seen them at times when I went to Chuck E Cheese as a kid, and even saw them performed at some kid’s party I was invited to when I was very little. I just read that they’re getting rid of the robots because of the FNAF movie. How stupid and dramatic can our world get?

actually I think they lied, the chuck e cheese in mira mesa ca they still have the animatronics. I went there actually but I thought they were telling the truth and I’m actually lucky. I’m kinda scared of them but I loved them when I was younger, and I still do their cool!
