Nice Video! If I may just give you a few tips on your body position (it was taught to me this way, and I like it that way): You should sit further forward. Your Back should be in a vertical line with the foot pegs. That way you can bring you elbows further up. They should probably be over or at least in line with the handlebars. If you sit like this, it will be much easier to push the bike into corners (in fast corners you can still lean your body a bit further into the corner than the bike since it is relatively stable). Let's say you are going into a slowish left corner (slowish meaning 2nd- low 3rd gear). After you braked you are going to push the bike into the corner by pressing down with the outer (=right) hand, while at the same time you press against the bike with your outer thigh (it helps keeping the body upright because you have much weight on the outer leg). In my Experience it feels like you are turning your whole body into corner. The last thing is the dangling inner leg. If you sit properly on the bike, you don't really need to stretch out the leg. I only take it off the peg when I either know, that I am going to touch the ground otherwise or because I have much lean angle in a slow corner (dragging foot rest in the bottom of 2nd gear). In this scenario it can help if your bike loses traction and you want to stand it up. But if you take your leg of the pegs, do not stretch it out like on the thumbnail. You really only need to lift it upwards, your knee should stay bent. (here is an image where you can see what I mean: img.speedweek.com/i/4/45b40c8ee1a74f8896e08220481f479d.jpg?preset=i750 ). Last but not least, take everything I just said with a grain of salt. This riding style works for me very well, but you may need to adapt it a bit to your likings. Something else: a supermoto triple clamp (14-16mm offset) could make your bike turn in faster. The OEM triple clamp is setup for a 21" front wheel, with the 17" you have a longer trail which helps with stability but makes the turn in slower. (you can see it here: gotagteam.com/KTM_Days/images/racing_2010/Rake_Trail/chassis-rake_trail.gif ) CAUTION: with a lower offset the bike will not be as stable at higher speeds and is more likely to get speed wobbles when you are going full throttle over some small bumps (because the bike has essentially no weight over the front wheel). You can counteract that by installing a supermoto steering damper (they have no return to centre damping which is important when you back it in). I hope I explained it well enough for you to understand what I mean. Nevertheless if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me. I could probably make you a few pictures or a video where I explain it a bit more clearly. Until then, have a good one!

Cool vid :-) Had a KTM 500 for four years. An incredible motorcycle. Used it for everything. Enduro, on ice, on the road. Used the most set up as a motard with Warp9 alloy wheels. Wheeleed absolutely everywhere. Miss it badly and going to buy a new one :-)

No need to send away for suspension re valve. Just set my 2013 exc sumo to sport settings as per the manual. Works a treat on tarmac and gravel roads without any nose diving under hard braking.

Weird how you feel the pipe gave you a considerable power bump. When BLDH dyno tested his before tuning it only had like 1.6hp more than stock. Not that that matters, if you're happy with it then that rocks!

Not sure if you’ve done it or not yet Chop, but you should defiantly do a SAS delete and get a Vortex ECU. If you wanna make the bike up it’s amazing what those do. The ECU makes soo much more power with the fueling of the throttle is sooo much better. When I worked at a KTM Dealer here in the states we couldn’t keep those in stock!

Don't stiffen it too much, otherwise the bumpy lanes become unbearable, almost un-rideable. Personally I would keep it quite plush. I have a 701SM and a 690R and some of the roads where you would think the SM would shine are terrible and the enduro on the knobbies just eats them up.

The reason that it doesn't turn as quick is because you have gone to a 160 rear. 140 turns in super quick. 150 may be the compromise.

Everyone told me that my 530 with akra (no DP) is really loud. I felt like it was a bit loud but not too loud. Then i let my friend ride it... and holy shit its loud😂 now i know why people get scared or cover their ears when i rip it😂

350 or 450 converted for supermoto be quite a bit less vibey at speed? You might be better off with a good lower-mile rated sport-touring tire, grab dirty roads and wet pavement, warm up in cooler weather, all better than some sticky sport/race tires.
