Hi there, no significant improved performance, at least for me...could be placebo, but i do feel it pulling harder, feels like more torque. There was no engine light after the change. The engine continued to run smooth, no variations in the rpm's. Reading some forums, i understand from different dyno tests there is a gain in the mid range rpm, while there is a small loss in the high range rpm's. So pulls harder right when you need to in the off-road, but you lose some top-end speed, I haven't tested, because with the current tires (Mitas E-10 on the front) it gets really wobble after 170-180 Km/h. With the stock exhaust it does not backfire, unless you keep the engine in high revs, above 7k rpm, then when you cut the power you get some light backfire. Probably with an aftermarket exhaust , it would be something else. I like it with the stock exhaust, for now, i;m happy with it and do not feel the need for louder noise. The bike is pretty new on the market, as i see it there is not enough time for people to ride with decat and straight exhaust to see nay side effects on the engine...

@@daosmr2644 I would be please to hear it when it goes under load..trough gears ! Do you have a quickshifter ? if yes is there better poping noise on the upshift ? thanks

@@Init369 i have the quick-shifter installed and it does pops when shifting up or down, depending on the RPM and load sometimes the gear change comes with a very nice and loud bang. I captured few secs of sound when changing gears in this clip : kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m9R6mMRj1b3RnIk.html

I have no ideea, but you are damn right. I brought 790 adv from 23 changed the mufller with a Remus one and I can still hear the engine rattle ing

Hi Joe, all works perfectly fine, meanwhile I bought and installed back in December last year, the power plate from Rottweiler, which together with the oiled filter from Guglatech , I believe it provides the best combination when to comes to air filtering. The sound is magnificent, especially when you're in high RPMs, it roars like a lion. No remap was done to the bike, not needed, since it runs perfectly, had no issues at all with the engine, oil is crystal clear, no oil refill between service intervals. Love this bike ! I have only 8k Km since i bought the bike last year, did the rear brake line change with KTM's recall, no other issues, no coolant leak, no dashboard condensation, till today. I noticed now I started to feel a small pulsating on the front brakes, especially at low speeds when applying low pressure on the brake leaver, planning to visit the local KTM dealer i know there is also another recall now related to front brakes systems, will see what the dealer will say....

Hi, it is indeed louder vs cat, but not by much. The original can does a good job at keeping the noise at an acceptable level. Clearly the recorded sound in this movie is altered vs reality, as the camera is very close to exhaust. I have absolutely no problem with the noise from the exhaust even after a full day riding. I have higher problems related to the wind noise and how this bike is protecting the rider against wind turbulences.

Hi Aldrian. I somehow managed to remove the cat without removing the entire shift lever assembly. Normally that should be the process, but I tried to unscrew the bolt behind the shift pedal from underneath the bike, the bolt is easy to unscrew, the hardest part is to remove the cat itself, there you need to put some muscle. I had no troubles with the clamp near the brake pedal, for me it was easy to reach without any intervention to the brake pedal assembly.

Mitas E-07 on the rear and Mitas E-10 on the front, excellent tries for the conditions I'm using the bike, 70% tarmac, 30% dirt roads. Not the very best in the wet, but they do the job very well for my type of driving they provide the feel and safety I desire,

yes, original tail, i just removed the left and right white plastic panels
