Ekspres Selatan 45dn is one of a cluster of KTM Intercity shuttle train services operated by KTM Berhad. This service is designed to cater to travelers in Johor, providing a convenient and cost-effective means of transportation bridging the non-electrified sectors between Gemas and JB Sentral. Despite the name of Ekspres Selatan, all Ekspres Selatan trains stop at all stations en route.
Ekspres Selatan is known for its basic and affordable service, providing essential amenities to passengers. The trains are typically air-conditioned, and the seating is generally comfortable, but not as luxurious as ETS services.
While Ekspres Selatan offers a more basic travel experience compared to ETS services, it is valued for its affordability, serving towns otherwise out of the way from major highways, and the opportunity to enjoy scenic views of the Malaysian countryside during the journey.

7:30 knowing ktmb, it is only a matter of time before these screens being swapped out for a qrcode like those in the klang valley when the lcd panel inevitably breaks

Try and take us to the abandoned train museum at the old railway station next to JB Sentral. The steam locomotive and other old train equipment is still there.

Bro i still thinking about ets over platform at batang melaka, & that staf scold the driver or just laughing together with easy talk.just thinking🤔😁

I think the overrun issue didn't affect much on other train schedules, since it happened at one of the stations with the least trains among all KTMB stations. The staff probably just laughed it off. Only ETS trains stop at this station. Moreover, there are only four ETS trains stop here daily (two trains to Gemas while another two trains to Klang Valley), making Batang Melaka station one of the train stations with the lowest train frequency in Malaysia.
