Beware of Yelp’s list. That company has made a fortune by extorting fees from restaurant owners to display positive reviews and hide negative ones.

Cheese Board is the most overrated "pizza" place I have ever been to. When I used to live near there, I'd laugh at all those fools waiting in line to get some salty slices of cheese bread. If you are into deep dish, there is no better option than Zacchary's on Solano Ave (Berkeley/Albany) and Telegraph (Oakland). There are also places that do great regular/thin crust pizzas WITH tomato sauce in the area.

Locals know where to go… Zachary’s is one of the best pizza restaurants in the bay.

What is your problem? I wasn't aware that pizza took political stands. Not a good pizza for meat eaters, but very good for vegetarians.

I gotta visit this joint before I move to NYC... Born n Raised in Chicago.. Only joint here in SF proper that's like Chicago pizza is Little Joes on Mission!

I don’t pay any attention to Yelp. It might be good, or not. But I recently had pizza at Sliver, near the Berkeley BART, and it was wonderful! Vegetarian, though.

I wouldnt say no 1 but i used to live in Berkeley, yes Cheeseboard and Zachary are two best pizzas, also the Sanwich place behind Jupiter was really good, and Cancun Sabor Mexicano also the best mexican food.

As a SoCal transplant to texas, I miss good pizza. There is good pizza here, but it is not easy to find, nor to get to, unless you happen to live near.

It’s OK. Dimond Slice is better…if you want vegetarian. There are just so many options…and Yelp doesn’t always have each one since not everyone wants to pay for their favor in pushing it out there. Cheeseboard gets the benefit of having so many reviewers and being a landmark.
