I hire the KX60 with Engcon EC206 Tiltrotator that I tested last month at the Engcon dig day and put it through its paces on a real job. These are my thoughts after spending more time with the machine.

The jerking while tracking is definitely something i have noticed on my kx040. I had engcon put in the track steering and that helps a lot because it allows me to feather the drive a bit more. The travel and the other functions do drag on each other quite a bit but i figure thats probably more common than not on many machines.

Nice one Ollie ..... I thought the -5 had fixed the flow share :(
@Raegos
If you were to try more 6 tonne machines you should definitly check out the volvo ec60e
@inventbyggas7533
if you are considering buying a larger machine such as a 5-6 tonne machine, you have an ocean to choose from. WN(et65) Takeuchi(260) is at the top of my wish list 🤤

Good review . We run a u56 which is very similar with a full engcon ec oil and gripper . The jerking like you say is anoying but you get use to it . The size of buckets is important regarding stability . Overall a great machine

Hi Ollie Nice one Thanks again

Not a bad review obviously the contestable parts, FLOW share, will not mater if any thing is pluged in on the end, they will do this regardless, some thing you do master, The new kingpost positioning over the exellent outgoing model 57 its well worth a mention, as to the stability is unbelievable with the engcon and gripper really. Air suspension seat is a game changer.

You should also look at the volvo ecr58, its basically the same price as the kx57-5(kx60) and i think its a nicer machine, But really these days everyone seems to make a very good machine.
