The proposal is sooo simple making it even more beautiful, the way he shared his whole childhood with her without any filter, it was simple but way more meaningful . And at the end when he said "I love you as a man loves a woman" just touched my freaking heart, I was hyeee Mera dil. We need to acknowledge the fact that Dev realised that he loved Sonakshi on time because of his sisters otherwise things would have been different but they saved the day and Dev confessed his feelings. Also, we need to appreciate Dev's courage, strength and honesty that he cancelled his engagement and talked to Natasha , her father and his family in one freaking day , the day he was supposed to get engaged. I mean he had the guts otherwise most people would never dare to do so much in one day even after realising their love for someone. This shows how pure and deep is Dev's love for Sona from the very moment he realised it.

I was in my 6th std when this epic serial started... I used to watch it with my mom and sister!! Still remembering those days when I used to wait for every episode Golden days of life.. Everything seems so nostalgic Even though things have changed a lot in life, coming back to watch this serial stays constant ❤️

This is by far the most genuine love confession in the indian TV industry. The Best of the best! It's just brilliant, the story lines, the build up to the confession scenes and cherry on top, the amazing acting skills by the leads and the dialogue delivery. " I love you as a man loves a woman" totally slays. Hats off to the dialogue writer. The whole dialogue for confession is just wow. To the dialogue writer, dude you just take my breath away with your words!

A million things can be said about this proposal. First of all, very natural no extra camera lights no slomo no flowers ki barsaat no special costumes no extra makeup. And, writers have outdone themselves. Genuine dialogues no “chaand taare zindagi bhar” vala promises. Nothing can beat this. Will forever hold a special place in my heart. ❤️

15th june 2024....It's been 8 years but I still feel it as new...I'm from Tamilnadu...It was telecasted in tamil while I was studyind 6th std and I used to watch it till leap but after leap it wasn't telecasted in TV so I couldn't watch it....Also I didn't even know hindi...But later I came to know that the episodes were uploaded in youtube during lockdown that too in hindi not in tamil...Initially I felt bad but I started watching it in hindi and I learnt hindi from this...Now I'm a 1st year student...Still watching it...I didn't even know how many times I'd watched this...Sach mein it's the best ever television series Any tamil audience???

31 July 2024..I was searching fr this episode in Tamil fr so long years .bt can find only fr 50 episodes in Sony liv Tamil..so came here to feel more nostalgic even though have seen this so many times in Hindi..I just want to see this episode in good dubbing in Tamil..Sony liv Tamil have to initiate something on this as it is a pan Indian drama..! Tamilnadu have a vast fanbase over this couple n series ❤❤❤

We tend to overlook the fact that the proposal is so realistic, no strong music ,no overacting or no heavy make up ,its the simplest way one could propose, especially when dev says," jaha sab khoya tha wahi se sab paana chahta hu"...if some man tells me this ,I'd be floored and fainted.

He symbolize these words for sona.... The place where he proposed her was the same place he lost his Papa, childhood, struggled for life when they were poor. So he visited that place with sona and proposed her & said that he want to acquire his everything I.e His love, his sona whom he loved the most who is everything for him.... He wanted to get her in his life at that place.
