For those who wonder why the food moves by its own, it's beacuse of the bonito flakes. They usually use as garnish and will move or "come" alive once in contact with warm food.

Good video. These videos are a great help for tourists who want to travel in Japan in different ways. Night buses are a good compromise because save a night in hotel while travelling from a town to another, saving time. Thanks, Kuga-san.

We have overnight busses here in Cambodia and the approach is a little different: Instead of a reclining seat, the bus is arranged in two-high stacked berths. You climb in, lie flat, and that's it. The advantage (I should think) is a better sleep for those of us who look forward to that, but if you're a short sleeper and looked forward to more of an "experience," it might not be very comfortable. Oh, and ours cost about $15 per trip, not $130 hahahaha.

Ah, the humble McMuffin. Truly a universal food. If you're ever in the US and want to confuse the cash register operator at a McDonald's, ask for one without the egg. At least half the time, they won't know how to ring it up. :)

If your camera faithfully recorded the sound level while travelling then I'm impressed. That has to be the quietest bus I've ever experienced - either in real time or on video. As an afterthought, you didn't give your thoughts on the 'value for money' question you posed at the beginning. Was that why you bought the cheapest breakfast - no money left after paying the fare?
