On 18 December 2016, the Meiteis hold up their elder brothers (Tangkhuls) who are proceeding towards their native villages/towns in Ukhrul district for Christmas celebration and burnt as many 20-30 vehicles along Khurai Lamlong road. Now, being scared of the Kuki-Zomi people, they run to IM Chief (whose home visit they vehemently objected) & other Tangkhul leaders calling out, "Tamo, Tamo, blood related Tamo" 😂
