A very insightful interview! Thank you Dr. Josephine and ISTV for this worthwhile interaction. I was quite excited to hear of a fellow Kuki senior from the English department of St. Stephens. Loved hearing your views on jobs, Kuki society and traditions, and your own experiences abroad in a multicultural household. I'm in concurrence with most of what you said, especially on the topic of Kuki Literature (which happens to be my field of interest). The scarcity of written texts, particularly literature, renders research rather prohibitive. I have been on the lookout for Kuki Literature to review as part of my dissertation for M.A. Interview like yours is a goldmine of inspiration to students like myself who are attempting to learn about Kukis in general.
