Sourav Datta Idk, personally I think he did simply because of how important a healthy body and good shape means to marvel and the short time period + he is 40 and his natural test is on the decline. Also first of year training if he went super hard and literally did everything perfect, he could gain 15-20lbs of muscle. Muscle, not mass, I’m talking pure muscle. However since he is older i’d say 12-15 is more appropriate. He said 1 - 1.5 years of training so I can believe a 20lbs muscle gain. He gained much more however, and the work he put in was a still a lot, but he likely used steroids. 90% of Hollywood is on steroids, simply because it takes long to make that body, and studios want to move on with productioh

Like, seriously, my Dad sees me as competition - and he's SEVENTY-SEVEN. It's just sad... on the other hand, my older kid's dad/my best friend is "brown" (Portuguese-Indian), and his family has basically adopted me, and they would totally be like Kumail's dad and yours... @@samdelon Of course he used steroids. It is not physically possible to get that built in a year as a 41 year old man without using steroids. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. For the most part people have been very polite about not mentioning it but yes steroids were involved. That doesn't mean it wasn't hard work! But steroids have lots of potential drawbacks and health risks and we need to talk about it openly.

@@genshinlover377 I agree,,, people have this common misconception that just because you take roids that it would magically give you toned muscles... Roids just make you work harder... The very definition of steroids is to temporarily treat inflammation, its basically a fcking strong pain killer... That's why when you're on roids you can basically amp up your work out routine to the nth degree thus giving you more gains than normal... Downside is it ruins your immune system...

It's not just about self love though, the work and dedication we put into sculpting and improving our bodies is such a sacrifice, we only know how good the results are until we can see the differences in the mirror. I've lost 15 pounds since New Year's with tons of cardio and a whole lot more salads, I was so happy to finally eat a pizza this week :)

@@BilalBham about 6 years I got in my best shape ever. Went from 17% BF to 11.3% BF. Took 4 months and during that time, it was the same story. No junk, no sugar, no booze. And his reaction is genuine. when you finally give in after all that and eat junk again you almost want to cry its so good lol. But yes your body makes you pay dearly for it when you go that long eating perfect and then binge on junk.

@@AlexRN It doesn't last long when you start eating a "normal" diet again, but the first few meals... Yes, stomach ache, head aches, gas, bloating, etc. Just normal stuff you get eating bad but ramped up to 11 for a short while.

Lol i think they all would react like this. I think Hugh Jackman and pratt said this about the training they got... That it's just for the movie and it actually is no fun at all. People see movie body's and think that's great but it really isn't great for them. Plus they can't eat and the diets can get really extreme. When you take all that into consideration...eating like you were in captivity for many years seems right.

To people that say he's roided, he's not. He gained so much muscle because he ate 0 simple sugars and his days, for months, was just exercising. He didn't have to worry about a job or other things other people are burdened by because his job was literally to get in shape so his life revolved around this.
