More often than not I find Kumar ji to be the most versatile maestro I have ever heard. The way he played with sound notes and effects he created was mesmerizing. Had there been no recording techniques at his times, future generations wouldn't have ever believed that someone like him ever lived and created immortal music.

***** , outstanding would be the right compliment. I suppose. Kumar ji is not only versatile but also so accurate in finding notes that even machines fail to measure.

Ati utkrisht. aage aage is sanskriti aur prampara ko kaun bar' aa,ega.` Globalisation' ke yug me'n. Bhasha bikharti ja rahi hai , bandishon ki to baat kya......I Anyway 3re bhag me'n jo Hori ityadi hain _ _ vo to gajab. Jisne bhi ye chdhaya (load Kiya) uska lakh shukriya.

Thanks for the upload. I've heard parts of the "sir pe dhari ganga...." its scintillating. It just flows from one raga bhava to the next at good tempo.

Like many, have been wondering about where Part 2 is?? lively Shankara left off incomplete - one feels so deprived! This missing link also sor of disowns malkauns in part 3.. a young Satyasheel Deshpande at Tanpura! Choicest of Kumarji's friends in audience! a treasure of a recording! thak you so much! pls provide the part 2....

really pleasant! as expected from kumarji! but is there any part missing ruyekul? because at the start of part 3 he is in 'Malkauns' while he ends this part with 'Shankara'.
