Today, since overwhelming number of audience and subscribers commented for us to react to the song "kune kune" from the movie Yoddha. Directed by Sangeeth Sivan, this was the second film for A. R. Rahman after Roja. Unlike Padakali, this is a breezy melody number. The song has been sung by Dasettan and Sujatha Mohan. Bichu Thirumala has written the lyrics for all the songs.

Truly this is a common song of ARR. but when this was released these types of songs weren’t that familiar. I think this was ARR’s second movie .So it provided a fresh feeling ..a soothing feeling ❤ also I recommend this movie too to the list you can watch. This is a comedy romantic thriller and this film was shot in Nepal. That little boy whom you can watch in this song plays an important role 😊 you can enjoy this film, but you might require subtitles 😅🙏🏻

This was a new sound when it was released, but yes it is a regularly nice song - the ones that the moms and aunties tended to like, haha, and easy to sing! As the movie has to do with Tibetian stuff/Nepal, it was cool at the time to hear elements of the culture in the music. As a kid, I also remember being impressed by the BGM and instrumental pieces of music from the film - one in particular had like, a dance/performance or something by the villains of the movie - I think the guy was the dude playing Duryodhan in 'Mahabharat', if I'm not wrong. An interesting tidbit. :p Another intersting tidbit was that the music was worked on when ARR was 'Dilip'! It was worked on before the release of 'Roja'. :)

Not for reaction but you should just listen to one masterpiece song of Yesudas 'Shadaj ne paaya' recorded for an unreleased 1979 movie Tansen'. The song does 'shruti bhedam' of all seven notes. The song took two days and some 57 takes to finish recording.
