Low Cost Tea Cake Homemade - Better Than Bakery Plain Cake (NO OVEN)

Tea time or plain cake is a soft spongy cake usually found in Pakistani bakeries. This type of soft tea cake is often eaten with tea. The recipe I am showing you in this video is authentic bakery style. This spongy tea time plain cake is very easy to make and you don't need to have an oven. You can easily make it in a wok.
Ingredients:
Sugar Powder 350gms (2cups)
Oil 250gms (1 and 1/4cup)
Eggs Medium 6
All Purpose Flour 320gms (2cups)
Baking Powder 15gms (1tbs)
Salt 1/2tsp
Lemon Essence 2 drops
Some oil to brush
Baking Time
Oven 30 minutes at 180c
Karahi 40 minutes in low flame
Cool 20 minutes after baking

Tried this recipe today. I cut the recipe in half, replaced oil with butter and lemon essence with pure vanilla extract then baked the cake in the oven. Turned out great. Thank you👍

I ve shifted to newzealand and you cant get the same local pakistani bakery taste here so i had two recipes but i chose to make your one though i had some trouble with the process because it was my first time baking something but oh my God the end result is amazing the look not so much coz i had to bake it a bit longer than half an hour but damnnnn the taste exactly the one i was looking for .... thankyou soooo much!!!!!!!!

2cup 350 gnms sugar 250 GMs 1. 1)3 cup oil Beat both with beater Add 6,eggs one by one beating 320 GMs 2 cup maida sieved with15 GMs bk pd n 2 pinch salt Add vanilla or lemon essence 3_4drops Line butter paper in moulds 7#3"450 GMs batter Bake in oven @180 preheated for 20 mts for 30 mts Preheat kadahi for 10 mts on high flame . Reduce to medium low n bake for 40mts Apply butter or oil on cake when warm with brush n cover with cling film . Cool n cut

Perfect recipe of tea cake on KZfaq! I tried this recipe today and the cakes came out very nice soft and yummy.. I made it in loaf as well as cup cakes with the same recipe but added orange zest and roasted peanuts. Only confusion was about 15 gm of baking powder then I searched for it and it's equal to 1.1 tablespoon.

HONEST REVIEW! So yeah I tried this recipe in grams! On Eid obviously And believe me it came out to be the bestest recipe ever (i didn't divide the recipe) And yes one thing I kept the loafs in a wrap for about one day and at that time it gave the real results After coming out of the oven it was kinda sugary So yeah it's a MUST try

Abhi main nay recipe try ki hai, ek round cake banaya hai aur baaqi batter k cupcakes. Main nay lemon essence ki bajaye vanilla essence use keeya 😀 dekhtay hain kese bntay hain 😋 mujhe bohat Zaroorat thi is recipe ki bcz yeh budget friendly hai aur bachon ko har waqt bakery k items chahiyay hotay hain 😊 Edit: cake ban gaye aur bohat hee soft aur fluffy banay.
