There is no such thing far as being the best on this weak game...MK 11 is completely trash ...I only play with Kung Lao on PS4 ( IpMan_216 )...played 3 damn near years straight and its nothing but a game for bums....Tekken is a real fighting game not this garbage game.

When I first played mk11 I had trouble fighting Kung Lao because of Z Hat and Dive Kick. But practice makes perfect so I lab against Lao only to find out Z Hat can be interrupted before his Hat leaves his hand, Dive Kick on blocks is full combo punishment. If your fast enough you can punish Lao Highs just don't hesitate when Lao does all that crazy movements his arms trying to get you to freeze. Online Kancer League its mostly Buzz Saw Laos I play against mostly.

So I have been playing mortal kombat since the first one was released in arcades back in the day an I will always be loyal to MK I even have the dragon symbol tatted on my right shoulder ...anyways so I have always loved kung lao and I picked up his moves and strategy quite well in MK 11 well enough to make it to Demi God levels with 0 use of any type of bread and butter string only using the combos and moves given in the pause menu but recently I have hit a Plato I can't seem to rise above which is why I am here it's time to finally join the string BnB users of the world and usher in a new skill level I've never even seen any need for before this but now it's a must THANK YOU GUYS AND REWIND MAN THERES A REASON YOU ONE OF THE BEST YOUR SKILL LEVEL IS BEAST MAGIC BROS THANKS FOR THE TIPS AND GOOD LUCK CRUSHING THE COMPETITION BROS

I'm not the best player so these guides helps me a lot, thanks, but the other things that he have and haven't been mentioned are bad or not? Like the mid soul burst from the stance with the kb. And how should, shouldn't i use his teleport? And his b32 is a low starter string but haven't been shown but it's good too right?

I'm just getting better with kung lao i have and Xbox i just learned how to spin but i can't make his spin move tours the opponent if he is a away from you. I can only make him spin if he is in front of me so how do you make him spin towards the opponent like you did.

Wow...great job. I've made GrandMaster with Lao and thought I was doing something right. He's my main, I'll work that F1 more and start running Combos off the dive kick. I'm just not a fan this version....

@@texacotai of course he's not a scrub, but who played Lao in tournaments was Splash and Scar, they are truly main Lao, and the reason why i main Kung lao in MK11.

I believe they updated the jump kick into F1 because the opponent doesn't jump high enough after dive kick.

I just can't seem to do 21212 into df1 online... The spin just doesn't come out. Practice works fine, even with a short input window. Any tips?

The game has a bad input system that's why you can't do it it's not your fault don't even get frustrated hopefully mk12 fixes that I doubt it though Ed boon is insane

Pretty much just jump into opponent and push buttons and you'll win with kung lao it's that simple

I waited long time for this but I think I a little disappointed. I mean, I love Rewind, one of the best in the world. But he's not main Lao. Also I see his point with this variant but in conpetitive just a few people use it. I think he might have mentioned BuzzSaw , possessed hats or at least Lotus Fist that are the variant that's best Lao in the world have ever used. Great video thou

Mk11 sucks terrible input system doesn't even register when I push the buttons can't even do saucy combos cause of it's stupid input system i push them slow then tried fast smh Ed boon is a maniac for signing off on this game

You might just be bad at inputting the strings at the right time. Hit the practice mode more often until you get the hang of it. Don't be so hard on yourself that you blame Ed boom for everything. Honestly I have no problem with inputs in this game. Make sure you turn off release check.
