Even though they removed most of this characters identity with the removal of launching spin and orbital hat I can acknowledge this Lao design is incredible and he feels way more fluid and creative than mk11 Lao and it makes me happy to my favorite character in a good place again keep up the grind rewind much love from htx🙏

The low hat buzzsaw shouldve been part of his actual tool kit, they shouldn’t have reworked his spin, I wish they gave him a sick dive kick teleport move, his dive kick shouldve stayed as down 4 like it’s always been, and he shouldn’t have been a kameo and main roster character. But at least he’s not trash so I can get over it lol

I feel like that happens with like every nrs game some characters are automatically recognized as top tier and others are called trash until people have had enough of a chance to really “dive in” and explore the character. It’s basically what people do with other people and that is make an assumption before they know wtf they are talking about.

Kung lao is really strong if you can consistently hit his armor move into goro and the fact its safe. Its a get out of jail free card.

Being the best Kunglao fan… I hate it they removed his tornado spin and orbiting hat… while other fighters kept their key specialties is malicious. Is evil that you can’t combo without spin…I can’t even see his teleport so what’s left?
