We had pretty good weather too that week so very much possible we were there at the same time. Believe the weeks after was just rain and wind.

There are pretty much none. “Freedom to roam” here in Sweden.

how is the mosquito? I am intending to do the same hike at around the same time in 2022

Little to no mosquitos or gnats when you go up higher but can be some around the lakes if there’s no wind. Mosquito net is a good thing to carry because some years it can be quite nasty. Very depending on the weather I would say.

Did the Plexamid not survive? 😟 you mentioned 5 broken guylines. What happened?

The Pyramid tent is a custom Locus Gear Khufu DCF-B tent and the lower is a Tramplite tent, bombproof that one. Yeah the guylines on mine broke due to heavy wind, guesstimating 100km/h. They started vibrating very hard and then snapped open from cinched down to fully extended cord. Leaving me in a cuben fiber shopping bag, haha! Gave up fixing them after about 15 times. My tent had thinner lines but the newer models as thicker lines so I got a full new set sent to me so I’ll be set in the future. First time ever with a tent failure and I’ve camped in some pretty exposed areas before. You live you learn I guess.

I doesn't seem like you packed a lot in your bags. What about food?

We packed food for all days and one extra. Ultralight backpacking is nice that way.

@@lighterpacks Hey thanks for your quick response! I have 14 packs of dehydrated food for 8 days. Did you / can you eat at the huts (lodges)? :) ALso, do you recommend a map or is the route easily marked? I'm also doing Abisko - Nikkaluokta. :)
