Hayao is someone who plays a lot different in tourneys. The style of play from hayao in this vid is not a serious hayao. You can tell because hes a lot more aggressive and taking a lot of risks here. Not saying he would beat kuni under a tournament setting but we would def see a different hayao then.

Hugo's SA3 (hammer mountain) is useful in matches you have to reduce opponent distance and keep pressure in them, even you have more control in the corner game, gigas hugo relies too much in the super art and makes him turtle a lot and unless you're hayao is quite useless against some chars strategies (denjin ryu and remy to mention some) I'm a Hugo player myself too, and I found Hammer mountain fit more on my playstyle (more aggro beacuse Hugo does tons of damage) have your opponents guessing more and be in the defensive more often in a match

@@Munkyo99 How do you reduce distance with SA3 ? I understand the fact that you have good knockdown with it, i understand the fact that you can do a lot of stun, but reducing distance ?

@@lioneljean4233 Hugo SA3 is good for blowing some denjin setups (like if Ryu is close enough just mash SA3 and it hits Ryu and goes through the denjin), so it gives the Ryu player less options.

He's just really good at using sa3 but he's also nice af without the super. He has to build it up and set it up after all.

"Efficiently using your character tools" can be lame if those tools are cheap, obviously.
