I think most people are just going to use the non-siege mode, and sometimes switch to the siege mode for some long range sniper shots.

Cool thing about it is that the turret ring is slanted to the front, giving it -5 degrees of turret depression, -5 for the gun elevation mechanism and -5 for the hydropneumatic suspension

Given the angle of the turret ring, it should have a gun depression penalty at the back

I don’t really understand why they felt the need to put horrid dispersion values on this tank when in the siege mode...it’s hardly strange for a tier IX med to have really good gun handling anyway

im really happy wg made freely available reward tanks that arent clan wars/ranked rewards. i play on anz servers so its hard to do both of those things and even though i cant get one of the new tanks i really want the char futur 4 so that works for me

Thanks QuickyBaby for talkin about the mental health you pay with for playing WoT. I got 3 bounty in the previous 3 battle passes one per battle pass. With the new battle pass you grind as much as the previous 3 battle passes combined. 4 hours a day for 3 months for a medal, no bounty equipment, not even one. At least it's fun fighting +2 tiers with your 75% crew, first gun, first engine stock vehicle, cause you need so many vehicles. The engine is on fire, the turret is stuck, the loader bought the farm.

St. Emil is one of these rare tanks ppl don't expect too peak over and land a shot. Also 15° gun depression

Best review I've seen so far. Sounds like fun making it work if your into trying out new situations. I think it's cool trying out different builds for your own play style and/or system limitations.

Iv never wanted a tank more than this one. My two favorite tanks are the Leo 1 and S tank.....this looks like a mix of both and I'm so excited!!!!

Battlepass: With the new battlepass, you only get the bounty equipment when u buy it. This really sucks! Otherwise, not to have to grind a gamemode till you through up is good.

I have been really enjoying playing the Kunze. Vents, Rammer. V-Stab. Lg Rep, Lg Med and chocolate. Fire fighting Directive. 5 perk crew all equipment standard. I use the Siege mode very little and I play more mid support range.

Ah the kunze, probably my favourite medium tank next to the Object 430U, this thing is so versatile, great sniper in siege mode, great flanker in travel mode. I wish wargaming made more tanks with gimmicks like this, gimmicks that require you to think which mode you'll need before each engagement. For example say you saw a tank at midrange, you have a few seconds before his sixth sense activates and he runs for cover. 1) Stay in travel mode and you might get two shots in, but both carry a high risk of missing, however you'll get away easier if he decides to shoot back. 2) switch to siege mode and you'll guarantee at least one shot hitting, but it'll be harder to run away if you get spotted. I love that about this tank, you always have at least two ways to fight.

I would've assumed the reload would snapshot depending which mode you're in, but the reload speed itself changing based on the mode makes for some strange optimization

I use mine as a scout/TD with Turbo/Bino/Commander's Vision System, I have a view range of 510.

I just had a really good game with this today. I am NOT a good medium tank player, but the siege mode worked great on Airfield and I was able to do decent damage. Nice tank with limitations, especially the armor. I did not bounce anything.

This tank will be very juicy to pen with HE rounds, I can't wait for it.

so, you switch modes in 2 seconds, but will the tank stop loading when you're switching modes?

from my opinion there is a paradoxon! usually you go into "sniper mode" and gets better gunhandling AT ALL! but you get only aimtime better, but disperson worst.. i guess they change someting in the future with this tank!

Thank you for the review. THE BP system was much batter for me i go trid of gold from the Christmas event. So I was good with it.

Just don’t fire on the move or when traversing the hull when using the special suspension. The base dispersion is much better in the special suspension mode and the dispersion penalty when traversing the turret isn’t bad in both modes.

That enemy M53 was a great watch, the game would be better with more arty that put up a last stand like that

This tank has grown on me. Now that ive played it several times and ive got an idea of the game play. Its a very nasty tank especially in siege mode and equipment added to increase that accuracy.

This is by far my fav tank in the game. It gives me the best results in dmg and kills and it gits my ambush/skirmish stayle of play perfectly. I m using the siege mode only on a hill or ridge. In bushes i rarely use it cause the accuracy is good enough in normal mode and i need to be able to retreat quickly. I use vents, rammer and mobilty imp. system

at least they didnt released another broken tank. you get some disadvantage in siege mode compensating for the accuracy increase. 35kmph in siege mode, as a tank have a fully trevearsable turret, unlike swedish tds since they can only shoot reliably in siege mode.

I like the premium pass option. If they have multiple seasons, we can just play two seasons and not have to buy the premium, or we can splurge and get the premium.

I think using improved accuracy is better, that way it allows you to not use siege mode that much.

I dont know if charioter is broken or is it just my luck, but the alpha damage on the best gun is 390, in one game I shot 8 times and never did more than 380 dmg. And in other games I play with the tank, I almost never do more than 400 dmg with that thing. Still one of my favourite td's in the game.

Eyooowe get the same one as Tier 7 and its not yet clear if it will be the new rating reward or just a regular premium(crate) tank

Hey QuickyBaby You talked about having a hard time seeing if you're in siege-mode or not. I just use the little square bottom left of the crosshair. If it has two arrows I go fast and if I see the crosshair in the box I shoot. That way you don't have to look at the crosshair to know whether you're in siege-mode or not. I'm sorry if you already know this, you just expressed it like you didn't, and I want to help out.

Looking at the aim time I think having a GLD instead of vert stabs may be the better option with its dispersion values.

Well it looks and plays different, so I guess that’s a good thing for the variety in the game. I will deffo pick it up, not sure about the full p2w expectations of all the whales though. Although maybe that’s why we had so few gold sales in the black market event this year!

Hello QB, You missunderstood a little part, or at least I'm quite sure you missed a little part. This season, season IV, started today, and ends 15th of june. However, it is in 3 parts, one from 15th of march until 15th of april, one from... you get the idea already. 6 tokens can be won each month, for 3 months. You can check yourself, "Missions - Battle Pass" and then click "About Battle Pass" in top left corner.

Soooooo many people putting out 160 usd for an ok at best tank And imagine if the hydropneumatic tanks could raise and lower the suspension while hull is horizontal like irl

This tank seems like it take a little bit too much micro managing in order to get the most out of it. Which is very situational, as the match progresses......and you get charged let's say you will often times forget and not be playing it optimal.

to get a tank with this system i will have to grind more then i had to do previous season. I got myself a tank just bye playing steel hunter. Now i will have to play a lot more SH to get one tank

I’ve only had the tank for 1 day, as an average player, the skill cap, patience and luck required to play the kunze is astonishingly high, so much so that it’s somewhat stressful in the few battles I have played (Doesn’t mean I don’t love it tho, lol). Luckily I already have the char futur 4 and ae phase 1, and the obj 777 and k-91-pt doesn’t interest me. I’d highly suggest getting the char futur 4 if you don’t have it yet. And just play either the udes 16 or leopard PTA
