System Shock 2 (PC, 1999) intro (first two cutscenes). Audio by Eric Brosius.
Audio is not from the cutscene avi files. I used tracks from a soundtrack release posted by MysteryDev in TTLG forums.
If you ask me, the narrator voice that starts around 1:04 sounds very much like Robert Picardo (The Doctor from Star Trek: Voyager). It's either him for real, or someone who tries really hard to sound like him.

SS2 and Fallout 1 are my favorite games. Primitive graphics but full of soul.

Yeah, but I hear that when the System Shock 1 remake is finished, they’re going to use the game engine to remake System Shock 2. Then the graphics won’t look primitive anymore cuz they’ll look true to life! 😅

That wasn't it. Even hitting the intro button wouldn't play anything. But I put it in compatibility mode for windows 2000 and that fixed it. It might be because I have windows professional.

Imagine being SHODAN, being freed from ethical constraints, going full megalomaniac on the disgusting fleshy creatures, being overthrown and cast away, fragmented on a pod, waking up in the middle of nowhere in a spaceship, cut off from it's systems, having to play coy puppet master with a few fleshbags just to go back to earth just to end up getting shot in the face with a 10mm pistol. All I'm saying is, there should be a "Yeah!" ending
