After 10 months, I owe you a dinner and an answer to your question. I use a Horticultural type vinegar with a percentage of about 45 % vinegar ( You can order a product called Green Gobbler online which is a very good percen and works well ) and spot spraying the weeds depending on the amount of weeds to be controlled. After we get the kill of the weeds ( Almost overnight ) I then come back with a liquid fertilizer ( We use ArborJet/Ecolgel Solutions Nutra-Root or SeaExtra supplements - www.ecologel.com ) and hose end apply with a dail and spray type applicator. Kurapia, once it is established, has a debse root system and is a very forgiving groundcover, meaning it will repair itself in those vinegar burn areas and fill itself back in over a shirt period of time. @@alcambero south west lawn, minimal shade. I did Kurapia bc my fescue was getting beat up by the sun.

2 months later...🙈 No...no ground cover or grass can tolerate urine, which is basically salt based. The urine salts adhere to the soil particles and cling to them until they are flushed away with water. The kurapia will, over time, repair itself via send out tendrils, which will cover the urine burn area, some what like the way bermuda or St. Augustin does the same tactic. My apologies for the very late response back to your question. I will make it a habit to check my channel for inquiries like yours in a more timely fashion. 2 months later.....🙈 Sorry but not really. No grass, or utility ground cover will tolerate urine because it is salt based and adheres to the soil particles. The only way to get rid of the salts is by flushing it away with water. It is very costly and time-consuming. BUT... kurapia grows somewhat like St. Augustine or Bermuda grasses sends out runners that eventually root up and fill in gap areas that may be present.Hope after so long in responding back, this message was helpful .
