In this Japan vlog, we take a break from amazing temples and castles, and visit Kurashiki! This small town is known for many things, including being the birthplace of denim in Japan, and also for being the "Venice of Japan." Does it hold up to either reputation? Watch to find out!

I was very impressed with the skill of the photography. The scenery captured by the camera has a calm structure, and there is a sense of security when looking at it. It somehow captures the calmness of Kurashiki and the calmness of Japanese architecture. It's a video that makes Japanese people want to visit Kurashiki again.

By the way, the items hung outside the house to dry were not peaches but persimmons, Persimmons to be dried are called astringent persimmons, which are too astringent to eat as they are, and are said to become 1.5 times sweeter than sugar by drying.

"Denim soft-serve ice cream", tastes like the Levi's Bill wore as a teenager. Just kidding, it tastes like “RUMUNE soda” and blueberries. It was unexpected that you moved further west from Osaka and Kyoto. As it turns out, it looks like you made the right decision. If you are still in Japan, winter brings rain and a lot of snow on the Sea of Japan side and dry sunny weather on the Pacific side. Keep up the great trip and don't catch any viruses. Where did you guys go this time? Can you say without seeing anything?

Kurashiki is a tourist destination that Japanese people love more than Kyoto. The city is especially popular with young women. Foreigners go to Hiroshima immediately after sightseeing in Kyoto and Osaka. Japanese people really like the place between Osaka and Hiroshima. In between are Kobe, Himeji, Okayama, Kurashiki and other places that Japanese people love. If you get tired of Kyoto or Tokyo, please do sightseeing.

I recommend two places that Japanese people often go to, but foreigners rarely go to. The first is Shikoku. It's an island on the opposite side of the Seto Inland Sea, so it's relatively easy to get to. There are four prefectures in Shikoku, each with its own characteristics. Typical places include Matsuyama Castle and Dogo Onsen in Ehime Prefecture. Kagawa Prefecture, also known as Udon Prefecture, has thousands of udon restaurants. Tokushima prefecture. Awa Odori is known all over the world, and whether you want to see it or dance it, please give it a try. The most well-known temple in Shikoku is the 88 temples that are distributed across the four prefectures of Shikoku, where you will visit one temple at a time. Many people spend several years visiting the shrine. The Japanese word for visiting 88 places is "Ohenro." I went to 8 places. The second place we recommend is the San'in region, where the natural beauty of Japan's mythological times remains intact. Since the mythological era, the roads of the gods all over Japan have remained intact, and the shrines where the gods gathered still remain. This is Izumo Taisha Shrine. There is no Japanese person who does not know this. There are no Shinkansen or expressways running in the San'in region. There are no large buildings or factories. The only things that exist are the roads that God has taken and nature. It has wonderful natural beauty such as sand dunes, beaches that appear in myths, and Amanohashidate, where the gods crossed. But most foreigners don't know about it. Please come and explore.@@EVL-xj5vc

@@user-do1ch5dw3x thank you so much for taking the time to share this. I’m lucky that I’m able to travel to japan often. So I can explore the less common places. Discovered Kanazawa before the Hokuriku Shinkansen was built and was less crowded then. Always promote unusual places to friends :) I don’t drive and I’m glad there are still many places accessible by buses I can visit.

Most Japanese go to Kyoto and Nara for school trips, and to Osaka for business. Therefore, Japanese people do not go to such places for sightseeing. If Japanese go, Kobe, Himeji, Kurashiki, island tour in the Seto Inland Sea, and various parts of Shikoku. As you can see from the video, most of the tourists in Kurashiki are Japanese, and many of them are young women. There are very few foreigners. That will be the best proof.
