Hello Guys ! I am sure that you will love this trip of Kurseong also known as the "Land of White Orchids". Being close to the plains this hill town is easily accessible by road from Siliguri and Bagdogra Airport. It is an offbeat destination which very few people know about.
Kurseong town is surrounded by beautiful tea gardens that include Castleton, Makaibarie, Ambootia and Goomtee. You can visit these tea gardens during your stay at Kurseong. Makaibarie tea garden is one of the oldest tea gardens of Darjeeling.
Kurseong is also known for its heritage schools built by the British and old colonial buildings. The historic Darjeeling Himalayan Railway track runs through the town and witnessing the toy train pass by inside the town is an awesome sight.
Kurseong town has always been close to my heart and I love exploring the nearby tea gardens and forest. At first sight you will feel that this town is like any other hill town but if you dig deeper then this place will reveal its true wonders to you. Kurseong is a beautiful hill station and definitely worth a visit.

So many things have changed and so many things remain the same from my childhood days. Eagle's Crag 🦅was called the suicide point before the TV Tower was built and the area fenced off and beautified. I love my birthplace and as I get older the affinity and magnetism of the place gets stronger. I would prefer to spend my last days in the place I was born.

Hello Sam! Thank you for this mesmerizing travel clip about Kurseong, my hometown. I loved the way you put in bits of history of the place to make it more interesting. I loved the drone shots, as well as the narration being bilingual. I think your subscribers would want to see more hidden gems of Kurseong like the Giddhae mandir, Sitalae devi mandir, world heritage toy train museum at the railway station, the old church and Christian cemetery on PB road (which has lots of interesting tombstones from the British era), the iconic Milan restaurant and Kurseong tourist lodge, the monasteries in Montiviot, Naya Busty and Castleton, a visit to the Castleton, Springside or Makaibari tea factories capturing the tea making process, Ambotia T.E, views from Allitia resort, Barbung and its quaint village areas as well as the Chitrae village area with its seasonal lake and Kali temple and the breathtaking (more than)180 degree view of the plains, hills along with its captivating sunrise.....the list is endless......maybe you should make a sequence of this vlog!

Man, you are sooo underrated. You deserve millions of followers. And yes Kurseong is also very Underrated. People are always excited for Darjeeling and they simply ignore this gem. It is nowhere less than Darjeeling in terms of nature, and almost everything.

I shot this video in the first week of September and was lucky to get this kind of clear weather. The best time to visit Kurseong is from mid Oct to mid Nov when the weather is clear.Hope this helps 🙏

Thanks🙏. I shot this video on the first week of September 2023 and I was really lucky to get this kind of clear day. The best season to visit is mid Oct to mid Nov if you want clear weather days.
