I'm 49 years old and live in Australia. I hadn't even heard of anyone called Kurt Nilsen. I just listen to his rendition of Hallelujah. He made that song. He is now my favorite artist. Second to none.

Kurt is extremely talented. I love him. I own all his Cd's. I even traveled to Norway from Nebraska/USA to see him perform. Cathy

its rare to find a man who sings not only with his voice but in unity with his soul and spirit. he has one of those voices that when you hear it , it just becomes one with your heart and it hurts when he has to stop singing, it leaves you longing for the feeling do that you relentlessly pursue it. i will never tire of his voice.

I just heard these first notes coming out of K.N.'s voice and I told myself WTF ??!!!!!!! His voice is just going far beyond any expectation. I was Totally wowed. He really deserves people to know him more in this world. It's even not a talent anymore - It sounds like just a gift ! Goosebumps !

Kurt Nilsen is an amazing singer/ songwriter. I have watched him live several times, and he sounds the same or better than his recordings. Like others say - he should be filling the big arenas in the world on a regular basis. It's everything that is wrong with the music industry these days, looks and geograhy always wins over pure talent. Luckily we know better.

I came upon this by accident. When I first saw a pic of him, I thought this guy wouldn't be able to sing. WOW! I couldn't beleive that was him. I think he just became one of favorite artists. His voice is amazing. I think he's knda cute in a way.

Anyone that watches a video of Kurt Nilsen singing and can only comment on his appearance needs to sort their life out. His ability is astronomical, so he doesn't look like the mainstream artists, that doesn't make him ugly or any less worthy of a place in the charts, stop slagging off his looks and start championing his talent in singing.

I live in Arizona also - I am a 5th generation Texan who moved here. Both Texas and Arizona would throw open their hearts and doors to this miracle of a man. How can we make this happen? In the meanwhile: I am learning Norwegian and preparing to just take my family and go to Norway one summer and try to see him that way, if that's what it gets down to.....I have to listen to his voice now every day and cannot stand to hear most other singers, he spoiled me.

and i think it so cool that he is not trying to change his looks. He seems completely relaxed in himself. That is what is so nice about his voice as well - so relaxed, so unpretentious and just by nature very beautiful and nuanced

and of course.....the most important thing is the voice. Kurt is one of a kind, he has a voice like no other...amazing!

This is my opinion only, and I am a young girl with a stunning goodlooking husbund, and Kurt is not ugly, by far, he does have a innocent look, that we all love, he have the voice of a angel. There is no better male voice out there ATM. I am not Norwegian, but he should be marketed worldwide and be shared with all of us.

There's good artists... and there's great artists. People you can listen to and just love. And then there's artists like Nilsen. People that tear you apart every single time you hear them... People that create songs that can never be background music. You're forced to listen, to feel... Remarkable.
