How many Warners and Brady's have been given up on by today's NFL?

More than likely.. way too many, unfortunately but hopefully with the reboot of the XFL next year, those overlooked guys will still have a chance to prove it.. if I were the NFL I would look at the XFL as the old NFL Europe (A Minor League in a sense) except even better because the XFL is stateside big City Venues and Nationally Televised so scouting those guys is cake.

Can you imagine how humiliating it was for him to be working night shift at a grocery store but thinking he deserved to be in the NFL? And to not give up and finally make it happen? People had to think he was crazy. His first real NFL action and he wins league MVP, Super Bowl MVP. It's just unreal. That doesn't just happen. His heart is so resilient and it's not easy to get that strong.

It's still hard for me to believe how this guy performed throughout the playoffs and in the Super Bowl in 1999. He was a guy who was just hoping to hang on to an NFL roster spot for the year prior to that. Has one of the best seasons ever and comes up with clutch plays in the two biggest games of the year. It was like he'd been there a million times. His composure in the clutch was incredible.

Kurt Warner. Man of GOD and maker of miracles. When he came in, with Faulk, Bruce, Holt, Williams, Hakim and Proehl, he took what was an under achieving mess and and rode it all the way to the TOP! As a life long Rams fan, he was the one I was waiting for.
@jarvasedundy13 жыл бұрын
I think Mike Martz had more to do with TGSOT than Warner did. He changed the NFL with his offense scheme.
@TheCountofToulouse3 жыл бұрын
@@jarvasedundy1 I respect what you're saying, man. I didn't mean to discount Martz here, I was just talking about the ENGINE that made all that work, Faulk being the LYNCH PIN in that entire thing. He was the ULTIMATE x factor. Martz was a scheme man but even the BEST laid plans wont work if you don't have intelligent, dedicated and ABLE men to execute. Martz's plans were carried out by masters of their crafts, Warner was one of them. Don't be so quick to discount his contribution, his spirit carried him through so many trials that led him to that point and tried him, humbled him and focused him to be able to do what he did that year. Those years in the Arena league, sharped his skills and made him the PERFECT guy to run Martz's crazy schemes. Martz said Warner threw some of the best passes he'd ever seen in football. One play in particular, Warner was to throw to the Rev. Issac Bruce on a crossing route, Warner was going to take a massive hit, which he did...he released the ball before Issac had even made his break, Warner got crushed but the ball hit Issac in the hands and he followed through for a big gain. Thanks for saying what you did. I hope I made it clear that I'm not trying to disrespect Martz.
