This is actually a really wonderful scene. The double meaning in her kiss comment to get him to realize what to do while not allowing Mio to understand was genius. Kurumi has always been a clever girl.

Kurumi keeps showing us her big brain actions, like seriously. Sure, the clone died but shido realized he could use Zafkiel in that moment, so all is good...i hope.

She may be not to some fans, but it is undeniable that she literally carried the whole DAL and you must admit it. Time manipulation is something else even a God, a cheater like Mio couldn't not handle when it comes to fixing and changing the history!!

Kurumi Tokisaki my favorite character is coming in clutch to save Shido from her. Even though Kurumi died, because Mio is too much for her. It's gives Shido enough time to use one of Kurumi's powers to go back in time.

yes the original was dead the kurumi that showed up late was her clone she sent to the future when she missed a shot at mio after coming out of her but it was not to shoot mio like we thought she saved one of her clones from dissapearing by using her angels ability but also that clone was enough to remind shidou like hey you have zafkiel dude use it. shidou going back in time is his only option at that moment now he's gonna start a date with mio's other half reine.
