He actually punched me in solarplexus from a Naihanchi dachi and i was in a modified sanchin dachi, it was pretty hard,for a second i thought i am going down ,i couldn't feel my legs for a sec.

part of karate is about respecting the elders,sensei Nakazato was born in 1919,in this video he is over 80 years old,

Nakazato sensei is a living lejend, his American student Noujaim sensei proves how good shorinkan is, the power I've seen in Noujaim sensei is great. by the way I train goju ryu however okinawa karate is a family.

ive practice diffrent styles from kung fu tae kwon do but my fav style and sensie is shorinryu shorinkan i was traind by the best in his time a direct student on nagazato sensie. Ray Keller. i wish i cloud find him to train under him again.

my sensei trained under 3 senseis nagazato iha n chibana we used 2 be shorinkan 4 a while until we changed 2 reihokan under ahagon sensei

I just came across this video. Anyone want pictures of him when he still had dark hair? :-) I was in Okinawa from 73 to 75. There were only a few other Americans studying at the Dojo...two were from California...Rod and Martin (both students of Sid Campbell) myself, Randy Hyden and three or four others.
