Kawali Egg Pie
Egg Pie or Egg Custard is very popular that you can buy it everywhere like bakery and cake shop. It is made with flaky crust and flavorful filling. The filling is consist of eggs, milk and condensed milk. We all know when making pies we need an oven to bake it.
So some are intimidated to make this pie because they do not have an access to an oven. But in this video I will teach you how to make an egg pie using a frying pan. Yes! We do not need an oven to bake it.
Crust ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2-3 tbsp white sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 cup cold butter/margarine, cubed
2 tbsp cold milk
Filling:
3 pcs large eggs
2 cups evaporated milk
300ml condensed milk(3/4 cup)
1 tsp vanilla essence
