Bibingkoy
This soup kakanin is very famous in Cavite that everyday it is sold out. Bibingkoy is made glutinous rice flour and water the same ingredients used to make bilo-bilo, palitaw, tikoy and butchi. To cook the bibingkoy the heat should be in the bottom and on the top. Preheated charcoal is placed on top of the bibingkoy. This kakanin is serve with very tasty coconut sauce it is made of gata, sugar, sago and langka.
ingredients:
500g glutinous rice flour
2 cups water(more or less)
Munggo Filling:
2 cups red munggo, soaked in water overnight
1 1/2 cups brown sugar(more or less)
Sauce:
3 cups coconut milk
1 1/4 cups white sugar(more or less)
2-3 tbsp glutinous rice flour
1-2 cups langka
1/2 cup small sago(cooked in 5 cups water)
