"Every year it's the same," the owner told me about his overgrown hedge, which sprawls uncontrollably each time as if it hadn't been trimmed in years. Another overgrown hedge I had to tidy up. I firstly mowed the grass with a pelerine and removed weeds from the borders along the hedge, I then proceeded to cut the overgrown hedge as it was heavily overgrown with ivy, I had to cut a lot more to get to the boxwood and rose bush, I also cleared the post of ivy and proceeded to clean up. The weather was quite hot, around 30°C, which made the job a bit difficult. At the end I also cleared the parking lot of weeds. This job took me 4 hours to complette

years ago i was in a horticulture class in middle school and for one of our assignments they loaded us up with trimmers and had us trim all the hedges in the field. it was a humbling experience 💀 this guy makes it look so easy!

I guess the problem with a hedge is that if they are overgrown it takes a couple weeks to look good again after being cut because all the leaves are cut away.

Your skills with monofilament trimmers, boom reciprocating hedge trimmers and hand held hedge trimmers, is quite impressive. You make some very challenging work look easy, and you have both speed and precision mastered! Quite an amazing manicured look to the property when the work was completed. You were equally as meticulous cleaning up all the trimmings and debris! I am sure the homeowners were delighted with the end result! I have done pruning myself for well over 40 years, so know firsthand the impressive skills you possess to have turned out such fine work, so quickly. Bravo for a job well done!!!

I just know I am not the only person who thought, (up until we started seeing videos like this one) that vines were just so pretty. Now that I know the damage they can cause to other plants trees and even structures I would never have them in my yard.

I follow about 15 other landscape channels in the US and Austrailia partly because I love seeing manicured lawns and work on my own home. NONE of them know how to cut a straight line. @susannezach6064 Funny you have just confirmed my hypothesis by wanting to be detailed. Germans love detail. This I know from personal and professional experience. It's part of the culture. You don't find that in the lazy USA despite how highly they think of themselves. It's rarely warranted. To respond with equal detail, as noted in my comment, I subscribe to many landscaping channels. None of them match his detail and it's always an irritant to me. The ommisions are obvious and leave the property looking rough. They don't seem to care but this guy does. He will take the level down further if it isn't right. Others just move on. It's always a pleasure to watch his videos. I look forward to them.

Another wonderful job! You’re extremely efficient with cleaning up after maintaining straight lines on hedge trimming. Beautiful! I highly recommend that the homeowner eradicate the Virginia Creeper vine. It’s a menace and will completely take over other plants and trees, structures and ruin brick and mortar.
