Kuwagamon/Okuwamon are easily some of the best Digimon you can get in Digimon World 2. Scissor Claw/Duo Scissor Claw lowered enemy defense every time it was used, so you could obliterate any enemy with ease.

Kuwagamon was the first Digimon to attack Tai and his friends in the first episode of 01, and was also the first to attack them Tai in the first episode of Tri. Love the subtle references.

It feels that only Kuwagamon family and Kabuterimon family have complete line. And, Funbeemon, too. Kunemon has Flymon and that's it. Snimon is alone.

I get why Kuwagamon's mega is GranKuwagamon, it's literally in the name, but it still upsets me that because of this, Dinobeemon no longer has a unique mega like Paildramon to Imperialdramon. Feels like Dinobeemon getting shafted out of being unique just because Paildramon was the favourite.

It still Gran Kuwagamon fits perfectly for Dinobeemon. You could compare Gran Kuwagamon with Imperialdramon Dragon mode and Grandis Kuwagamon with Imperialdramon Fighter mode.

@@MegaGigaPetarD I'm not saying GranKuwagamon doesn't fit Dinobeemon. It fits perfectly like you said. I just think having other non jogress digimon having the same mega level kind of lessons that uniqueness, because currently ONLY Paildramon can digivolve to imperialdramon.

Grankuwagamon only works at night - as showing him working in daytime. Good video though. I've never cared much for the Kuwagamon line but they do seem to be an expected staple for the series.

There kind of is, in a sense. HerculesKabuterimon, as was stated at the end of this video, has the data of both Kabuterimon and Kuwagamon, having traits of both; this is reflected in the game Digimon World 1, where both insect champions can become him, as well as the first card of this Digimon ever printed, which can be digivolved into from both MegaKabuterimon and also Okuwamon. Also note that one of HerculesKabuterimon's attacks is called giga scissor claw, of which scissor claw techniques are typically associated with Kuwagamon as opposed to Kabuterimon. ......................Maybe it's not a true fusion of these 2 Digimon, but it's the closest we have to such a Digimon

@@matthewkuscienko4616 Hercules was created long before Gran, so it was probably considered a tidy way to tie both lines up. But then Hercules was also retconned from a Perfect to an Ultimate, so it's not like they have no problem changing things. Like using Vikmon for Gomamon's natural Ultimate instead, rather than the Jogress evo for Shakkoumon. They barely ever make use of the official bios anyway.🤷‍♂️ Saying that I still think Omegamon should have been a fusion of Koushiro and Taichi's partners, because they had a much more believable friendship. Yamato always felt forced in that role IMO.
