Maybe u dnt know this but when u co own a company u just get up and leave the company. Even as a worker when u want to leave ur plc of wrk to a different plc u have a channel u pass through. So he was wrg thr, he cld hv discuss it with the rest of the owners and am sure no one wld hv stopped him but rather maintain a good frdship between them. He wasn't making sense and anything he was saying, he said he left so tht he can hlp people yet that was wht he was doing in the grp. The prblm is showing remorse, accept whr he was wrg and appreciate those who made him who he was, mend bridges and move on. That's all people are asking of him. So in effect, Quables sacrificed his life his stardom for Dancegod and the movement. But Dancegod was not ready to sacrifice his stardom and his individuality for the group vision.

It’s interesting how he’s insisting on contracts now when he didn’t see the essence then. Also he mentioned just leaving a place when he feel he’s outgrown the place. Is that how he would want his new family to treat him when they want to leave? Is that a mature way to handle issues? What happened to closure? The issue here is not about he leaving the team. We invest because we want to cash out. He left at the peak when the whole team was about to benefit from their hard work. He was the brand they invested in. That is why a contract was important. When an organization invests in an employee eg. Supports with a masters program etc, you sign a bond to work there for a minimum number of years before you leave. If you decide to leave before the agreed time, you need to pay that amount with interest. That is business not brotherhood. Quables invested his time, money and skills to create the brand Dancegod. Remember he’s not a dancer. His only reason for this venture was because of the brand. Let’s allow him to show his pain and give him all the time to heal. I hope he is able to move on and still go on to invest in his passion.

What I deduced from both interviews is that Quables is hurt they built something beautiful together, and Dancegod left him midway. Dancegod was also hurt by an action or inactions of Quables at the time they were together but didn't want to burn the bridge, so he chose to leave quietly. It's because of this same reason that he didn't want to dwell on tension between them when Kwadwo interviewed him. They both have beautiful hearts and can chart their individual path without being a threat to each other. I wish both of them success in their endeavors. More importantly, they should find a way to smoke the peace pipe even if they won't work together again. Great job, KS.👍

My observation from both interviews with Quables and DGL is that most Ghanaians do not understand the core principle of Ubuntu ' I am because we are'. I can only imagine the formidable force DWP will be with DGL and Afronita as a united front. How can a co- founder exit to compete with what he contributed to build. This should be DWP against the world not DWP co-founder dissing his efforts and the talents they have raised. It is rather unfortunate that people realise too late that they would have been better if they forged together rather than solo because the Showbiz ecosystem is not friendly and no one does it alone. This is why we always start something and others make it a hit . While we are busy fighting eachother, others are copying the template and would soon take the centre stage. Then my dear Ghanaians will continue to sing ' we started it, they came to learn from us' ... The question is did we sustain it? Let's do better.
