This is my third visit to the border areas. Last year, I visited Behiang in Churachandpur district located along the Indo-Myanmar border. Recently, I visited Dzuko base camp at the Manipur-Nagaland border. This month, I had the opportunity to visit Kwatha village in Tengnoupal district, which is also located near the Indo-Myanmar border. Kwatha is more known for its controversial border row. However, people fail to see that it is an idyllic and unexplored village with lush green vegetation and a quiet surrounding. It is also the only Meitei village in the hill district. People are very simple and lead agricultural life. The fermented bamboo shoot produced by the village is also well known for its taste.
So, this is the journey and visit to Kwatha.

I think this platform is for positive energy so let’s not try to drag the respected personalities here in this comment. indeed sir 😅my perception is still weak as a young boy. I learned it which I never learned before. As a village boy as well growing up in a remote area it's very rare to see such kind of unprecedented inspection and interaction with people I too from the churachandpur district kangvai subdivision. Hello Sir, a very good awareness initiative. I, as a part of National Security Studies, Manipur University visited the village of Kwatha with our teachers and witnessed the conditions of the village. Electricity was of the main concern. The AR supplied electricity from generators. And secondly road connectivity was also a concern especially during monsoon.
