Lol. That's what I said I said that 4 years ago. But honestly, they're standards on themselves seem too high. They don't want to release a game that will need work later, and every year they put it off more and more advancements happen and then they rush to try to catch up to that.

The issue with hytale conspiracy theories is that no one ever comes to their actual theory, just the context Like in this video he didn’t even say when it was going to come out But for me personally I think it will release during Q1 of 2024. Considering everything which is going on with the game, how it seems as if it’s almost coming to a close, and just needs some more SFX and details. also how the game is only been growing (even tho it’s take a very long time to make XD ) it just feels as if 2024 will be the right time UPDATE: I was wrong 💀

The question is... will you still have time to play it years from now? I've been waiting since the trailer dropped in 2018. I'm a freaking adult now. Guess how much free time I have.... Yeah, not a lot. Not as much as when all I had to worry about was school. Yes, my stress levels are essentially zero now but still. Time is time.

I predict 2026 or 2027 tbh. It seems like they really want to take their time with this game and have it launch as this massive amazing game, and I could very much see that translating to a few more years of development to go. Which is fine, I want them to take their time and make something truly incredible, but we will have to be patient either way.

@@Sir_Newkirk I’m assuming hytale will have a launcher, and I agree it’s annoying to have 5 launchers to launch 5 different games like it’s becoming nowadays. Butttt, hopefully it’ll be well needed as hopefully hytale will be packed with custom features etc. that will be supported through the launcher

Normally I'm an incredibly impatient guy, and I'm surprised I'm still waiting excitedly for Hytale, I would have expected to not care at this point, but I still do, and I hope they do a beta or alpha test soon

I still feel bad for a few KZfaqr that left everything behind betting on hytale. Which is depressing thinking about. I remembered one moved to a different country or state? And put all their bets that it’ll be just as big as Minecraft back when we thought it’ll be out in 2021

Tbh im more happy when the devs are honest and just tell the community that they need more time that is totaly fine and understandable and thats exactally what they are doing so i really see a bright future for the studio and the game itself

I'm certain this is a case of scope creep and bureaucratization. They expended years worth of energy on scaling up their company after Riot, and relatively little on development. The scaling up also caused development chaos that needs resolution before serious unified development can happen. And they have the new plan of multi-platform release instead of the original (and better) let's get the PC done and running well, then release on new platforms. These two factors slowed progress to a crawl for several years. Perhaps they may lead to a superior final product. We'll see in 2030, I suppose.

I just think they ought to release a good and stable game first before they try and release on every platform , with an inbuilt mod development engine while just making the scale bigger and bigger. At least a Beta to show what they have accomplished so far

People are so impatient with game development. It's only been a few years since it was announced, that's not a long time for games like this. There's thousands of games you can play while you wait. Of course they'd delay the game after announcing it. They never expected so many people to be interested, so naturally, they broadened the concept and wanted to make the game more polished for release. Now that riot is involved, it has to be worked on even more, to match up to the quality of riots other games.

I really cannot believe it, but proper news has dropped of people testing the game from outside the company. Yes, they finally popped the cork on their development secrecy! Its still not done yet, but with the sheer amount of time in development I have to assume testing means a beta within 2 years

Later 2024 or mid-2025, probably in school break if it's 2024 for maximum profits. I don't think they'll launch it the same year as GTA6, so that's why either 2024 or 2025.

i only recently found out about this game and am actually really excited for it, it looks like everything i want minecraft to be, i find this long development time actually kinda Relieving cause it (hopefully) means the game will be delivered with little to bugs or glitches and with most of the kinks worked out or having patches for them on the very near horizon

My problem isn't that it's taking so long, but that communication completely went down to pretty much zero. I always enjoyed the little news snippets, but now we barely get one or two in s whole year. So they have s fully fledged staff, but none of those guys and girls manages to post a freaking picture with a line of text as a sign of live every one or two weeks?

All of you in this comments section whining about "Wahhh, they gonna release it 2030 release it now" need to understand that they're delaying it because they want to have a solid game on release. Is it going to have bugs and glitches? Sure. Will it be the greatest game ever released? No. But understand they don't want to push it out when it isn't ready, and they don't want to generate a bunch of false hype for a product that they don't feel is ready for release. They understand that you only have one shot at a first impression, and they want the game to have a TON of content on release. Putting it on multiple consoles delayed it, but at least many more of us will be able to play it versus those with just a PC. Doing an entire engine overhaul delayed it, but at least they can provide us with better graphics, higher quality gameplay, and more polished code. Hiring a large team delayed it, but at least now they have a solid amount of people working on it versus a very small team. I can see the Alpha/Beta launching in 2024/2025, and I can't wait to get my hands on it. They've clearly worked hard because they're not just execs in suits - they're gamers like us, so of course they're going to have a bit of perfectionism, because they don't want to release it broken early on for the sake of pleasing the fans. They'd rather release a quality product that the fans and dev team will be happy with. And if it isn't immediately good on release? I'll forgive them because at least they didn't rush it. Love the music, love the videos, love the growing community, and Kweebec Corner is still my favorite channel for Hytale news. Can't wait to experience it with all of you in the near future!

Honestly, I think fans should be happier with the delay in releasing than with the immediate release, I think the longer the delay, the more time they will have to review bugs and remove them and To improve things, Cyberpunk 2077 is a clear example of why you SHOULD NOT release a game early just because of impatient fans.
