Poop sure is a dump Difference for sure. Mojang shot that idea down for Years now, but Hytale just does it. And they still havent explained anything whatever all Animals or just Farm Animals? They need to give us Infos so we can connect the Dots, or else, all the Infos they gave us don't really mean anything - if you get what i mean.

Hytale honestly seems more like Terraria than Minecraft. I think that’s a bit of a better game to compare it too as Terraria also has more rpg like elements whereas Minecraft is more of a pure sandbox

I think that it can be compared to terraria in the survival, exploration and item variety sense, but comparable to minecraft in its flexibility with mod creation and building tools

This is exactly why people are saying it's a minecraft killer, because it is. It's everything fans of minecraft have ever wanted. Minecraft is dated, it's content is lacking, it's optimization is horrid, it looks bad, there won't be anything minecraft has to offer that this game won't have more of when it drops

Yeah, this would be great for my sister. Shes been inactive in gaming for year but a few months ago she started playing a lot more. I showed her some cool hytale stuff and she kept saying, "like minecraft" and stuff like that(she was mainly joking, she thought it was cool.). This video is also good for people who got bored of minecraft or anyone who loves minecraft, and think its just like it.

@@batcat2338 The reason why Mojang won't "just do what the community wants" is because this community is fucking stupid. Most of their unbalanced, dumb ideas would completely ruin the game, and the sole fucking reason why Mojang won't add those is because they *do* know that MC is the biggest game of all time. People never think any of their "genius ideas" through and, knowing how responsible and involved with the community Mojang is, they harass them with their shitty ideas. Do you have any idea how long it takes to implement a single tiny feature? It's not difficult to programm or texture it, no. It takes days to just *think through and balance how it works.* You think they just come up with a cool-sounding idea and add it right-away? No. They take hours to carefully think them through because of how careful they are with the development of their game.

So far, i understood that you can experience like fantasy, or story-based game, explorations with hytale. But with minecraft, its more onto creative sandbox, individual and communal creativity

You can also experience creative sandbox in Hytale. Both have virtually the same building system, but Hytale has more tools and options.

Minecraft is a simple therapeutic game with the slightest RPG touch, Hytale is a proper RPG game and I'll definitely see myself playing Hytale when it comes out

@Gutstorib we don’t know. The hytale team said that they are taking their time and that’s because people responded positively to the trailer. I don’t think we are gonna get any announcements soon but it’s gonna come out for sure

One aspect that Minecraft has that we haven't seen any evidence of is redstone. There doesn't seem to be a mechanic for players to design "machines" in Hytale. Though that may be by design as being able to automate stuff probably ruins the RPG element.

Minecraft is a whole different thing it's supposed to be a sandbox building exploration game not rpg. Hytale is a rpg game. It should be compared with terreria If it has the same tybe of blocky graphics that doesn't mean it will the same type of game You could say minecraft dungeons is like hytale

@@hovis_esports Sure a simpler way maybe beneficial but don't make it look as difficult than it actually is. A sorting system in Minecraft only requires some basic understanding of Hoppers and redstone. You don't need to be a God to try to understand them.

The only thing I hate about Minecraft. You can never have an RPG experience because any dungeon can be just mined through and every mob can be farmed and loots should be every uninteresting because if they are too powerful they don't feel earned and can be easily exploited with mob farms. I hope Hytale fixes this problem

I think Minecraft's redstone/technical mechanics are too hard to replicate without being a carbon-copy. I think for this reason, Hytale will never replace Minecraft for me, but I'm totally chill with it being it's own thing

With "ambitious" Minecraft mods they feel very out of place. Like seeing a spherical space ship type. I think hytale won't have such a large issue like this.

Probably the main reason people call it a minecraft copy is because the peopke making the game are literaly the people behind the popular hypixel server. If it'd be just any random company nobody would care but seeing where they came from its very easy to see what they're trying to copy

Obviously, it's going to be much easier to create high quality mods. But the client is going to be closed, so it can't be compared to Minecraft as the same thing but better. Theoretically, with an unrealistic amount of effort and time, you could create anything in mc. But it's too late to assume anything.

I think it helps a lot that they provide the tools for us to make maps, movies and the other i mentioned earlier. With hytale being a closed client I don't know what that means for playing with mods but i hope it allows for mc level and higher modding.

I see some problems though; I would imagine that for people who just want to make some small additions to Hytale, the Tools would be perfect. But remember - you can only ever do as much as Hytale wants you to. Bug exploits would probably be much harder to abuse, and some of them are actually fairly cool (See 0-Tick Farms). Also I think that if you were to try to mod Hytale similarly to Minecraft, that I'd be much harder. Going into the code and adding stuff there will likely not be possible, so yes, basic Modding will be easier, but doing anything advanced will be even harder than it is with Minecraft. Also remember that since Hytale is a rather unknown Project (compared to Minecraft) you will most likely never see large communities, or at least the size of servers like Hypixel. Much further than this, making crazy Mini-Games will probably also be much harder in Hytale than it is in Minecraft, since, if we look at other games that have given you Modding-Tools, those are often layed out for adding singular Items with limited Interactions. Therefore I would Imagine Hytale much rather being similar to what CubeWorld could've been.

There’s definitely less features in Minecraft than Hytale. I think it will eventually depend on the person whether they like simplicity or complexity. In my eyes, Minecraft is a blocky sandbox game while Hytale is going to be a blocky RPG. I think I’ll come to enjoy both cause I love RPGs and absolute creativity.

@@codyh2720 I totally get that. But the point of the video is supposed to show that hytale isn't a minecraft clone - whereas it actually pretty much does the opposite. According to this video, hytale *is* a minecraft clone - just a better one. Now, if he hadn't tried to stretch it out to a 30 item list, and instead focused on the core of what makes hytale different (RPG instead of sandbox), that would have been more accurate.

They still don't want it to be called Minecraft 2.0, I mean it is really different from minecraft, they just showed it in a bad way, there's mages, dungeons (actual ones not the ones that we find underground in minecraft), and the overall gameplay of it is really different. It's just that by comparing stuff it's easy to find similarities.

bruh Minecraft is more focused on Sandbox, basically you can make anything if you want to, and Hytale focuses more on the RPG (like WoW and Skyrim but a little "sandboxy"). Some people wants the sandbox of Minecraft, some people wants the RPG of Hytale. Regardless they are still really amazing games overall.

I wouldn't worry too much about that because there seems to be milestones to get through and by the looks of it, many game modes, challenging difficulties, Terraria level of item count maybe? I think you will still find engaging things to do in Hytale that is further than just building like minecraft. Finding new cool mounts? New weapons? Exploring the zones, finding bosses and much more.

My biggest Question for Hytale: In Minecraft, the very Principle of Updates is Flawed. You can't tell the game what we should be able to tell it: "From there to there, i want to keep this, that's where i have build, ALL the REST can ALL be Reloaded!" We need the Option of Reloading Chunks completly so they are Up-to-date!! We need this in both Minecraft and Hytale so that Updates really actually matter. Otherwise, i dare to say, Exploration is even discouraged, because loading chunks is in a certain sense a 'danger' then... It's hard to explain this Issue, and most aren't aware of it, but all the more, i want to stress this is a Big Thing. You can either remake a whole World or you don't, there's nothing in between, and that really sucks. That's why most Players just have many Worlds/Files. See? The System is flawed, as long as we can't specifiy the Area we want to keep, to let everything else get Updated.

Thank you! I can see how MC is really more “sandbox” with an RPG component, but Hytale could end up lending itself to being RPG in a sandbox environment. I think part of the longevity of MC is the sandbox component, so i hope some of the things like recipes and skill trees in Hytale don’t take away from the sandbox feel, although a little more story and continuity to the map and worlds will make it a more meaningful experience and not just a grind. If there is a creative mode to Hytale, that will draw in the same community that doesn’t want to bother learning recipes in MC or searching for recipes in HT. Although I always prefer vanilla in MC, it will be nice to have something interesting to do while gathering resources in HT. All-in-all i’m excited to see the game, and since i’m one of the 1200 or so that bungled their PSN account sync with MSN account (it’s a permanent link on their 3rd party servers!) if this comes out on PS4 i can see it becoming an easy replacement for my beloved MC game that i cant connect to my user accounts and play globally without losing purchase histories or trophies across platforms.

What I Iove about Hytale, in particular, is that it has amazing terrain generation and RPG elements. It's obviously not a 'Minecraft replacement', but I hope that it inspires the team over at Mojang to improve a few things, like terrain generation. Again, love the terrain generation.

@@user-zd9wd What he meant to say is- Hytale is its own thing, it may be inspired by Minecraft but it will be a completely different experience hence the title - 30 HUGE DIFFERENCES... in my opinion Hytale has the potential to be superior to Minecraft, and it baffles me that"more complicated" means something bad to you. If life wasn't complicated would it be any fun ? I don't think so

I honestly hope potion making and magic will be complex and customizable, I love how minecraft allows you to make complex potions based on the ingredients, so it would be cool to have such a specific and explorable option in hytale. As for magic, I know it's hard, but I reeeeally hope it could be customizable too, something I really wish could be added is personalized magic particles an trajectory, to animate and entertain with magic too.

I hope there is incentive to build in the different zones. In Mc i normally make one base because moving stuff around is a pain but if there is way to travel quickly i would 100% build stuff in each area.

Minecraft is an amazing game. I've had it since alpha and the game has never stopped amazing me. The fact that modders in the community have added a crap ton more content it has kept me busy for a very long time. My little brother is around 11 years younger than me and this has kept us connected from far away. Hytale looks like the game that I will end up playing with my kids. I will definitely play this.

This looks amazing, but will there be a redstone like mechanic? One of my favorite aspects of Minecraft is developing massive intricate automation systems using redstone.

One correction: you said minecraft structure generation is completely random, but there’s much more to it than that. The only thing random is the world seed when you generate a world without manually entering a seed. Biomes generate near other biomes with close temperatures, and structures and villages are biome specific. Desert wells gen in deserts, desert temples too. Jungle temples in jungles, and ocean monuments in deep oceans.
