This is the series years and years ago that showed me this wonderful channel. I don’t even make cards. But the amazing artistry and techniques on this channel have kept me a big fan for years. I am a mixed media person and I get to see all the different mix medias used and wonderful techniques. The cards are beautiful and this crowd is a pretty nice group of talented people. I just can’t believe it’s the holidays again. This card is again a work of art

Since the snow people have such cute personalities, I could see adapting them to the seven dwarfs, hear/see/speak no evil, all sorts of things.

Early-bird gift shopper here. Generally pick up stuff all through the year, then try to get totally finished by the end of November so I can get it all wrapped. 😁

I usually wait to near the end of the holiday season. But this year I started a few weeks early. It was a good thing as I had forgotten someones birthday and was able to give them a gift in a hurry as we celebrated three birthdays in one day at my house. So, I ran and wrapped it real quick (put in in a gift bag) and gave it to him and pretended I had the gift, but forgot which day was his as all of the birthdays was so close together. It really surprised him. He was happy. So gift shopping early was a bonus for me this year.

When I see that perfect gift for someone, no matter what time of year, I buy it and squirrel it away in my closet.

I LOVE cards like this that have a lot of inking, masking and Copic coloring! To answer your question… I start shopping for Christmas in November and like all gifts wrapped by the first week in December.

I wait a week or two before Christmas! Not because I WANT to... I always say I'm going to start early, but never do!

I do both. I buy things as I see them through the year and they seem like something someone would like, and I also always wind up buying “last minute” surprises.

We don’t have a lot of people to shop for, so we get it done early. Lots of gift cards since we don’t have kids or grandkids, just nieces, nephews and greats. We are in our 60’s and really don’t need or want much that could be a reasonable gift (we want a cruise - not reasonable gift!). Love the card, especially the ink blending.

I have to purchase my gifts in advance or I wouldn’t get all my shopping done. Love the cheery colors of this cards.

What I love about this tutorial is it isn’t what goes on the card but how masking works! You’re fascinating-I want to live in your colour world.

Haha love this card, I actually don’t purchase gifts except for children, cause adults can buy their own wants. However, a few weeks prior to Christmas I start baking like mad and rather than giving gifts, I give baking. It’s been so well received by everyone I’ve gifted them to, so I love doing it year after year.

What a cute,cute, cute card to start the holiday card series ! If I find things through out the year that I know someone will absolutely love I will get it then,but usually start the shopping throughout November and try to have it done at least a week before Xmas . It is so satisfying having the pressies round the tree. Nothing better than going to the stores and having the music playing it really puts you in the Xmas spirit 🎄

Love this card! I'm an early bird shopper for Christmas. I worked on our military base one year in the convenience store on Christmas day & it was just unreal to me the people coming in looking for a gift because they left it for last minute.

I am in the middle of early bird and last minute. I think of the specific person and match what I give to that. So, more personal person to person. And then, I may NOT be able to wait throught out the year as I aquire gifts and .... end up sending it early!! LOL I love giving ALL year long.

I make (knit) all my gifts (both for Christmas and birthdays), and I’m almost done with everything this year (including the first birthday gift for 2021). All my nieces and nephews gets hand knit sweaters for their birthday (I will do that until they tell me otherwise), and a Christmas ornament for Christmas. All adults gets socks unless they ask for another small accessory, one person gets a sweater of their choosing (I also dye the yarn in whatever color they want). I’ve even finished my gift tags, so if I wasn’t loving looking at my gift pile I could get them all wrapped up! Quite a lot of my gifts for next year are already planned, and I will probably start knitting Christmas gifts in January 😬

I love your holiday card series! I'm an 'inspired' gift giver. I buy things when they seem to match my family or friends, and try to find a place to hide them! 😁 Of course, I also buy last-minute when nothing catches my eye for someone. Then it's food or some tickets to an event or movie theater.

I have a page in my planner to collect gift ideas the hole year. So when a birthday or Christmas comes closer I just take a look and get the present… So I would say: early bird 😊

I am an early bird shopper gifter -- I'm actually thinking all year long about the just right gifts, the just right packaging -- and this year my (grown) kids want a destination Christmas and no gifts!! I'm crushed! Thank goodness I have a grandson! LOL!! They can't deprive me of gifts for him and they've acceded to an exchange of books. Sigh.... I think I have every gift card option known to card makers! :)

I usually wait until after Thanksgiving to shop for gifts. Then, about December 15, the mad rush of “personal shopping” for my parents starts. I just told them both today that personal shopping needs to start ASAP this year because of the expecting shipping issues and shortages. Fingers crossed! My holiday cards for this year are finished… thanks to inspiration from your 2020 card series. I used the Concord and 9th Joy die and stamp set along with some dies from my stash and patterned paper from my stash! I really enjoy following along for the entire HolidayCard series!

Love the card. It is so colorful . I tend to be on the lookout for gifts all year. If I see the perfect thing for someone I get it and will have a list on my phone, so I remember. I have been known to forget and picked up a second item or forgot that "special safe place". So my phone list works well I don't like last minute, things are picked over or you buy stuff just to get it. Favorite Holiday!.
