Kx5 is a collaboration over a decade and a half in the making. deadmau5 and Kaskade effectively changed the electronic music landscape when they paired together for 2008’s slow-burning “I Remember” and the influence of their follow up “Move For Me” cemented their influence as the standard. Both tracks peaked at No. 1 within a week of one another on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. The GRAMMY-nominated artists’ paths crossed again on 2016’s ominous “Beneath with Me” featuring Skylar Grey. More recently, in July 2021, Kaskade made history as the first public concert performed at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium. The sold-out show featured a surprise set by deadmau5 and had the two artists reuniting again for a set to close the show. As Kx5, deadmau5 and Kaskade are primed to write their own history. Now the pair officially join forces to form a unique collaborative union.

SOFI TUKKER is comprised of Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern. The celebrated duo have resonated across the globe with their inclusive and global perspective on electronic music, laced with themes of liberation, unity, and self-empowerment. Having amassed over a billion streams and Gold records on 5 continents, their music has been used in a multitude of ad campaigns for Film, TV and video games for such brands as Apple, Peloton and most recently Smartwater among others. Many of the duo’s hit songs are sung in Brazilian Portuguese with lyrics by contemporary Brazilian poets, such as Chacal, who they collaborated with on their GRAMMY-nominated debut single "Drinkee." Their latest full-length album, WET TENNIS (When Everyone Tries To Evolve, Nothing Negative is Safe) is the follow-up to their GRAMMY-nominated debut album Treehouse. Their vibrant fan community “The Freak Fam” are highly engaged both on and off-line. Their high-energy live shows sees them with major billing at marquee festivals in 2023 including Coachella, Bonnaroo and Governor’s Ball with more to be announced, while they also continue their Las Vegas DJ residency.
In addition to their musical endeavors, the pair are the face of G-STAR RAW’s new denim TV ad campaign, and the band sold-out the launch of their own WET TENNIS fashion line which kicked off at New York’s 2022 Fashion Week. SOFI TUKKER are also passionate activists committed to equality, and have raised funds and awareness for organizations including Planned Parenthood, The Trevor Project, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Natural Resources Defense Council, The Nature Conservancy, the March for Our Lives and Red Cross Ukraine.
