I am new to hydroponic and I might be wrong, although I do not have a good feeling regarding discharging hydroponic solution in environment. At the end when u discharge used hydroponic solution water to clean the system or refill it with new solution, it will go to river or soil etc which is not good. So it will passively harm the environment right? Please clarify how do you handle discharge of flushed solution once it is used in hydroponic and what are your thoughts on Bio-ponic which sounds much safer. Thanks.

Well the organic matter added to soil has, generally, a natural origin. And how plants use nutrition is a plant chemistry whether organic or inorganic additives are given. This was there even when there were no chemical fertilizers. How can we compare and call a man made synthetic chemical as organic even if the use may be regulated. What happens when the waste water or discharges from hydroponics are dumped in nature. 🤔🤔
