Great video on a topic that many of us don't know much about and haven't seriously considered wearing a Nehru jacket. Will look forward to more fashion tips on this channel. I like that you delve in to the historical background of the garments and the tradition of wearing associated with it. Your videos are quite detailed and you have a keen sense for the finer points. Thank you for this video. I ask you to do a favour for the wider audience. Can you please edit the wikipedia entry on nehru jacket ? I am not sure who wrote it but it is being claimed there that Nehru himself never wore the eponymous nehru jacket and that he was actually mostly wearing the achkan. Based on the photograph you show in this video at 1:53 this is clearly not true. Moreover the article clearly lacks even basic information of the jacket but rather goes in to difference between this and achkan. There is a lot that can be rectified there.

I'll suggest not. A person must wear only 1 pc - either shirt or trouser in check, other should be plain to balance the design & give some visual stability If wearing check suit, wear a plain shirt inside & ensure checks are not that big

Hello Jitendra ji. Same color Nehru jacket & trousers can look good. Just remember to wear a contrast color shirt (not necessary bright but contrast). It will balance the overall color proportion & add to the look. You can also wear a pocket square with it. Nehru Jacket is a great great option for summers as it is stylish yet comfortable
