Summary: he was with his friends in a music video and a disagreement and fight broke out. Not much happened afterwards, people went their separate ways. The police brought him to court to identify who in the video is who which he TECHNICALLY did as he said, "they're my friends". The detectives wanted him to corroborate a story where they weren't friends but enemies where someone pulled out a gun and it was a fight between enemies. Slade says this isn't true and the people in this video are his friends. So on paper it can say he identified (his friends) but that's not what got one of his friends time in the end. He never got taken back to court because the info he provided(just identifying who are his friends and that everyone there he was cool with). So the police didn't get what they wanted: to go along with their story that this was a violent, planned attack between enemies. So again, the usage of "identified" is technically true but misleading as he didn't say or do anything damning to anyone of his friends in that case.

Shoutout to slade It’s not what a man goes through, its how he goes through it that defines him.

For the ppl who don't understand what pleading the 5th means, it means you have the right to not incriminate YOURSELF. it doesn't protect you from testimony against others when you in court on a subpoena. Slade did exactly what he should've done in that situation and not give them anything information that they can work with, while avoiding a perjury charge.

This needed to happen. I was really over here wondering WTF was taking Slade so long to speak on this shit... I thought he was doing himself a disservice by stalling but this is literally some master chess player shit. I expressed on Piperboys channel I really felt like Piperboy was making it all make sense and the more he spoke on what was happening with Roc and Slade and everyone involved the more I was opening up my mind to the possibility that this was just a hit job and Roc was the bait. Initially as I was starting to come around to the idea of Slade giving a 1 on 1 interview, for me Piperboy has to be the platform, the way he thinks and his logic, I wanted him to get the first interview but after watching this, I'm satisfied with how Rah handled this... Slade came off as believable and he made his logic every step of the way make sense. I see why he made the decisions he made and I've lost no respect for him.
