My mom passed away a year ago on December 7th. Dad shot down 2 years ago at a gas station. Then after mom uncle gets diagnosed with stage 4 bladder cancer and a few months after THAT my other uncle gets hit and killed on his motorcycle on his way home from work. This is all within the past 2 years May I remind you. Needless to say this song recently has been on repeat since around the time it was released. I have not been feeling too fine but because of this amazing song I feel like the weight gets a little lighter each time I listen to it. I needed this song more than i can explain, on Friday the 12th. I went to the hospital because I was su1c1dal, i was there being monitored for over 6 hours before psych talked to me, it was terrifying for me because that was the first time I admitted I needed help. I went to a psychiatrist on the 15th and have other appointment on the upcoming 22nd, the gist of my story is the song literally saying I'm finally feeling the pressure of keeping my feelings inside...well I finally told someone I'm not alright and I'm getting help, I'm not okay yet but I'm on the journey to it.
