Larson won't do well at Indy. Different animal. He will sell tickets.

@@andrewahern3730 He's won in Cup, Sprint, Midgets, and Late Models. Kurt Busch finished 6th at Indy. Larson has a year to test the waters. He's not a driver to underestimate.

As much as I'm rooting for him and want him to win, I just don't think he's going to do that well. The main reason is Larson does really well on tracks and in cars when he can recover. That's why he's so good on dirt. That's why it took him a bit to get the hang of cup cars and why he will still make mistakes at the cup level. (although he often recovers and wins). I hope I'm wrong. The dude is ridiculous. He's my favorite driver. I just don't think his style in those cars works. But man would it be awesome to see him win. A top 5 would still cement his legacy (as if it doesn't need it already). A top 10 wouldn't surprise me though.

DD broke a valve spring and lost a cylinder and tried to pull off the track but unfortunately Brent Marks was too close to DD when this happened is what DD posted on his Twitter account. Both DD and Brent Marks are having an up and down year with their down part of this early season being more about bad luck than racing horribly with this race as one of many examples.

Anthony Macri finishing 4th in this race makes this the 11th time in his last 12 races of getting top 5s and in 3 of those 11 races he won. Anthony Macri's team is back to their great consistent racing that they had during 2022.

I finally got it to work by backing out and going back in several times. It was a half hour behind but after a few minutes was able to fast forward to real time. Odd though it worked on my cell just fine. Wish there was a way to contact Flo

It was just bad luck for DD and Brent Marks as has several races have been this season for both DD and Brent Marks. They have a good amount of top 10s and an OK amount of top 5s but very few wins and if not for bad luck their top 5s and win totals would be higher in the early months of 2023.

I love Larson but I hate he promotes higher payouts for dirt drivers then comes in and takes the money from them even though he makes mad money in NASCAR

I mean, he was slated to line up 2nd in the feature and chose to risk starting 8th for an additional 8k if he won. I thought that was cool and added excitement. Without Larson, this series wouldn't even exist. Yes, he won ~31k last night but that doesn't take away the other ~51k that was dispersed to the other drivers for finishing 2nd-24th.

Larson has good intentions with this new series but he needs to officiate or drive. Winning an event that you promote is pretty weeny. Giving a break to your little buddy is unacceptable. I can only assume that Sammy wasn't at the race because there wasn't a fight.

I really think if Brad would also add Laps to the dice roll others might do it then Like, Larson rolled an 8 so he started 8th and if he won he got an extra 8k, i think they also need to add 8 laps or if you roll a 12 you get an extra 12 laps so that would make it at the most a 47 lap feature, which in turn would also make the other drivers have to strategize a little more on their setups
