@@SUHweeney Not really, maybe if he had another receiver that the defense would have to account for like let's say CALVIN RIDLEY and perhaps if the Falcons had an Oline with a running game he would have had more yards. I don't think Matt Ryan was the reason, but most Falcon's fans think like you.

I have to agree. I'm not sure we've ever seen anybody but Vernon Davis who was even close to as good of a prospect as Pitts.

@@darnellwilliams8783 Pitts is one of the most unique offensive players we’ve ever seen. 6’6” 245 lbs with blazing speed and agility. Super good hands and route running. He’s like a slightly bigger and slightly slower version of Megatron

The fact that he was doubled and tripled teamed this whole season speaks volumes to his ability and his future stardom in the NFL. If ATL can get some WRs and a pass rush, this team could have a deep playoff push

The Julio Jones effect with one touchdown for the whole season. He'll be the best TE in football at some point, throw him the ball and frequently.

I came here for the Pitts highlights for dynasty fantasy football but holy moley it really turned into a Matt Ryan highlight reel lmao that man threw Pitts some dimes & honestly their chemistry was underrated last year.

Runs very similarly to Julio honestly I see why they drafted him and Traded Julio. He really does all the things Julio does. He’s younger and not nearly as injury prone. Just needs to keep growing

Yep he’s a fast tight end. Even if he’s not a full time blocker. He still same size or bigger then olb. So if opponents 3-4 he can block or fake block and run. He was only 20 most of the season. He just turn 21. Way ahead of his time.

As a die hard Falcon fan, he had a good season. But he wasn't utilized properly. He could have had a way better season if our head coach Arthur Smith used him more in the offense. But the fact he's a top 5 TE in his first season is amazing.

important thing to remember is that just like a qb and receiver need chemistry, so do the coach and coordinators, they'll get it figured out I'm sure!

Yeah Smith has never had tight ends get lots of targets in his offenses. Same with Bruce Arians, but Arians got Gronk a fair few targets once he got there. Hopefully Smith makes that change to with Pitts

@@reppingl I think smith is a smart coach that inherited a franchise in absolute shambles. Give him, Pitts and London some time. I think this could be an elite offense if the last few pieces are put in the right spots

@@reppingl it’s a weird situation cause with the middle of a rebuild and an extremely young and talented team, tanking essentially loses a year of competitive experience and also might hurt the new guys’ morale. I think taking someone like young would be fantastic, but it’s gonna be tricky to still make it work and have the rookies/sophomores develop. I kind of agree though, just wish there was a better way to get there

he is literally the best receiving option on the team, he’s 6’6, runs a 4.4 40, has soft hands that catch everything and is an athletic specimen. there isn’t 1 valid option to not throw him the ball, even if he’s covered throw it to him he’s coming down with it

His second year injury really hurt him. Watching him this season you could tell he wasn’t running like he was his rookie season. Hopefully with rehab and rest he will bounce back next season ✊🏾

I loved Matty Ice and hated to see him leave but that deep shot against the Jets would have been a TD if he had a little more arm. Pitts had everyone beat and had to stop to catch the ball

He looks reminiscent of a young Kellen Winslow Sr. He's being misused this year. They should build the entire offensive playbook around this guy like KC is doing with Kelce. No reason at all why he shouldn't be getting double digit targets in every game.

Dude as a rookie TE was catching straight fade routes on the outside through a double team to clinch a game. Not to mention against Xavien Howard and Jevon Holland. Like talent is not the issue here, they just need to force feed this man the ball at all costs

After watching, Marcus Mariota throwing to Kyle Pitts last season and watching Matt Ryan throws to him in this video. It's disgusting how terrible Mariota actually was lol. He couldn't hit Pitts on a deep pass to save his life, but Ryan connected to Pitts on least 8 deep ball passes in this video. And didn't lead him to get his head knocked off by a defender either.
