Hardly. He spent an insane amount of time in jail, got run through the wringer, a pile of debt, and no so much as an apology from the DA that was going after him for political reasons. This wasn't a win, it just wasn't as bad a loss as it could have been.

@@lperkins2 I think the fact that he has become a cultural icon makes up for it. I think this is a win but it was merely one battle(hearts and minds not literally). That doesn't mean we should get complacent though, because the war is far from over.

@@robertwienhold6520 That is possibly a fair point. Question there is, as the victim, does _he_ consider that a fair trade? Also, this is a point Lehto commonly makes, is that a trade _you_ would want? Not knowing the outcome in advance? But yes, just lamenting the injustice, when it is a sunk cost, does downplay the potential positives. He looks to be making the best of it, and that "best of it" might just work out well.

The kid is cringe as fuck in interviews iv seen, he trys too hard to be funny or one of the boys. I don't blame him, he's a kid who was shoved into the public eye so I don't expect him to be a natural in interview but hopefully it's a case of the interviewers being the wrong people and we get a less cringe version of the lad and more chill and less on edge to try to be funny. Unless he's just cringe anyway lol then thats fine I guess, nick deserves this interview though that's for sure.

@@dale897 I think at times he had to be careful of what he said . His responses are very canned. These sort of canned responses were taught to him for cross examination. This carried over to his media tour by his handlers. I hop Nick has his way of break deeper into who Kyle is regardless of him being a child who has been through only what POW’s. Yes he was a political prisoner . Can’t Wait!

When the verdict came out, I was working with a bunch of very liberal guys whose media diet was almost exclusively mainstream media. It was so eye opening and bizarre to see how little they actually knew about the case and yet how convicted they felt about what should have happened to Kyle.

I agree with some of the comments about his interviews with Crowder and Pool. They weren’t good interviews at all. He was/is just a kid when this happened..and the conversation should be on that level..he can’t be talked to as if he were a parent, grandfather, doctor, CEO, Actor, business owner, Celebrity etc…

throughout the ordeal I kept imagining if it were my son, at that age, or my grandson. Living in WI it was so close to my home and heart. I broke down and cried when Kyle did, with relief at the verdict. Looking forward to hearing his voice tell his story. Thanks for keeping up the pursuit of the interview, Nick.

Watching Kyle's trial here on this channel was such a welcomed thing to have, because I'm sure those weeks were a watershed moment for many, to come to an understanding of how easy it was for the system to railroad an innocent young man, all because the prosecutor and his boyfriend, fueled by their twisted-ideology's outrage mob of weirdos, and seeing in real-time how they're all constantly offended by sane people and reality in general, that they'd willingly sacrifice someone like Kyle and not even think twice about it. Fuck those -people- demons. Looking forward to your interview, good job Nick. 👍
